I know we have many heroes sharing paywalled content, but how come no one here ever shares any of their own looks or scenes? You would think there would be at least somewhat of a community around swapping modded looks and scenes since we don't really care about licenses here anyway.
There are already some looks shared here exclusively. Just search for "f95 vam" or something like that.

Can anyone recommend some good dance scenes? I really like Reigns sexobeat scenes but are there others that are similar?
I have mmd plugin and a handful of motions that i like for it. i just want to know what's come out in the last 2 years because i haven't used vam since then. Not interested in ones where the girl simply bounces on dick to music.

I know that we have asset releases and there's also stuff on hub. There was also that one link about look alikes but is there anything else for scouting new characters? Recently I've seen vids of Shinobu Jacobs apparently having VaM port and was wondering if someone was incorrect with their video tag, author did the thing but isn't sharing with anyone or there's some other place to get characters from?

Does anyone know this error? When I save my scenes in the save scene section, they only save the image and the json file does not appear.

Agreed VR + VAM is awesome, the ability to swap out models and going into passenger mode is amazing. I haven't tried it but am curious about the chat room + play plugin. Looks fun.

But my aging 8700K + 3090 has massive loading times even on SSDs, which is my main gripe and why I don't get into VAM as much as i used to. Hopefully Vam2 fixes this.

your loads goes up as more vars you have on VAM. Try to limit vars to the only ones you need and vam will run 100x faster. Also, use the performance plugin that gets 30%+ more performance.

This is not necessary at all when using var browser. Check the comments on the hub for this plugin.
"This is a amazing, thank you very much for this. Now my bloated VAM starts up in about 5 seconds, instead of 5 minutes."

That pretty much says everything. Overall FPS are also better and lagspikes midscenes are gone for me.

Just in case anyone is curious about the details as to why more .vars slows down VAM is MeshedVR (the main dev of VAM) explaining what the culprit is.
TLDR; the game engine references every morph you have installed each frame. So the more morphs(often included with looks), the more that needs to be computed each frame.

Having a lot of clothing installed does appear to slow down the person atom menu, but I cant confirm that.

is the most complete solution to the load times/low fps as already mentioned. Also Browser Assist has a working beta that currently has a "var management" feature which achieves the same goal of speeding up load times/ boosting fps by unloading Vars you arent using.

I kicked almost all clothing var's and alot of clutter like "animated people".
ALSO I recommend using "everlaster.UXPlus" as a session plugin.
It has an alternative plugin managment feature which is quite amazing and saves so much time.
Updating a person's plugin to the latest version with one click, recover old settings after reloading the plugin itself, favorites and much more ;)

Ooo that sounds convienent. never did try out UXplus, but i think today is the day lol.

On the same note, there is a new (i think) plugin i use as a session plugin "qdaro.UITweaks". It adds in shortcuts such as right click to reset filters on dropdown menus, middle click to toggle morphs between their current value and 0, scrolling pages of clothing/morphs with the scroll wheel, etc. It also works in Var browser, so no more needing to scroll up the entire list of creators to reset the filter.

Var Browser is a must have for potato computers and really any large VAM library. Easily cut my load times in half and improved framerates noticably.

It's a must have for any rig tbh
Combine this with the CPU fix from the hub and the FSR mod if you are using VR to get the best out of your potato.
