I'd rather read a text file with a decently written H-scene than look at low-quality loops of IRL porn.
If I want to see IRL porn, Pornhub exists.
Seeing IRL porn in a game about fantasy shit like succubi and demons is immersion-breaking.
Although in this case I disagree with immersion breaking idea, I do generally feel a disconnect with the chosen RL images in most RL porn games. In this game I do think a lot of time and effort went into picking the media to represent what the DEV was seeing as he wrote the story. So then I ask myself, if he is willing to take THAT time and effort to bring his vision to us, why did he choose RL. I can't be sure, ofc, but I would wager skill sets have an impact. I can play a flute like the second coming of Pan. But I can not write sheet music. Perhaps the DEV doesn't have the artistic gene to hand draw the animations in a fantasy world, with fantasy characters. Or would you prefer he used AI to create his scenes? Perhaps Daz or one of the Illusion engines for the rendering? Ofc each of these has their own problems, needs their own skill sets, and are generally just as disliked but certain people as the Rl is to you. So the question becomes, "How do you see the DEV solving the issue you have?". Telling him, and us, that 'it is bad' is ridiculous without some, or any, feedback on how it could be improved. And no, "Just don't use RL porn." is not a feedback. Anymore than, for instance, if the Dev did get someone to hand draw new art and animations for the Succubus and someone got one and said, "Well that tail she has isn't a real succubus tail and is immersion breaking." What is a better tail? So, if RL porn is wrong for this game, what is better? Why is it better? And, perhaps most important, is it even a possibility for an independent Dev who can only work on the game as their RL allows?
