Monster Level and Human Level need to both be 1 or higher to use Polymorph on the Greeter

Also, did you save edit your game?
I found the older save of mine for 0.97 version. Human lvl is 3, monster lvl is 2. Ada is not present yet in the village (it appears after I save and load in goldy village).
In this save the old man can be polymorphed. I missed that option in chat with him and just noticed it. Still, somehow without modifying saves later I managed to drop human lvl below 0 and raise monster lvl up to 7.

Dropping the Human Level to -1 or negative numbers seems to be the root of the issue. It's a super rare thing that has only been reported to me twice and I was never able to replicate it. That's why I'm still trying to figure it out. Hm...

The only thing I can think is that, at some point in development, I updated one of the events to calculate the levels differently. And so in extremely rare cases like yours and the one other person, using an older save with a newer version, there must have been something between 'when you saved the game' and 'when you resumed playing the game' that allowed you to drop into the negatives.

I could spend some more time testing it, and I might, but I've already spent over an hour trying to find this supposed loop before and I still haven't found it yet. If it still exists somewhere in the game it must be caused by doing something that I would never think to do. (Which is saying a lot, since I test out switching the houses back and forth a bunch of times on almost every version update)

There were 3 main artists who worked on the game over 5 years, one of them changed styles multiple times, and a few art pieces that were done by non-main artists. As a result, the art direction in the game is pretty inconsistent. Whatever you're seeing right now is (almost definitely) the final art.

I like that Raptor is just an unapologetic incestuous shitbag rapist. There is no attempt to say "no see it's actually okay because of this contrived reason," he's just an asshole who takes what he wants, and the only things he gives out are kids.

The stuff with Raptor and Kath's first time? Chef's kiss, especially since it was up to the player how forceful Raptor was about it, and how actually into it Kath was.

The only changes I would like to see are "put it on a more modern version of RPG Maker" and "futa protagonist." The RPG Maker thing is a pipe dream, because I don't know how all this works, but I do know enough to realize that it's a pretty tall order. The futa thing, well, the heart wants what it wants, and I acknowledge that it's a me problem, but it is what it is. :LUL:

Glad you're enjoying it!

I'm working on some games in newer versions of RPG Maker now, but there's definitely no way in hell I'm completely remaking APC. It will never happen haha. As for futa it's not really my thing so I can say unfortunately it will probably never appear in any of my games.

Um where to get night whisper?
There are treasure chests full of alchemy ingredients that you can buy. I think there's one in the school. I can't remember where I put the other ones. If you need money, there's a spell you can use to instantly generate gold.

I hope that if they ever come to light that they still include pregnancy content as a big driving factor. Your ideas and content was just too good not to have it again in a fresh project with your gathered experience coming from APC.

As for futa it's not really my thing so I can say unfortunately it will probably never appear in any of my games.

Here's some material that I was showing off for the new game.
It's called Rainy Butterfly Window. Right now I'm just using my placeholder art,
But in the future the portraits will probably be redrawn by someone more skilled than me.

I was testing out a mechanic where the player can use the settings to change whether or not the character can be seen holding the pipe, if it's replaced by a lollipop, or if the character hand is just always empty. There's also a dynamic setting that allows the character to choose what she is holding based on her mood, stress, and even the location where you speak to her.

This is something that I wanted to do in Absolute Power Corruption but there were too many characters and so I felt it was better to give each character their own unique item and have them always holding that item. But with Rainy, since she is the main focus of this game, I can focus a lot of energy into making her behavior a lot more dynamic, adding more depth to her personality, development, and the choices and interactions that you can make with her.

Are you done with the game now since someone mentioned this was the final update?
I'm not 100% done with APC yet. I was talking in Discord about how I felt like the effort I was putting into the game wasn't worth it anymore, because the engine is so outdated and no matter what I do I can't improve the overall quality of the game. I mentioned that I was considering releasing all of the unused art assets and unfinished materials and calling the project completed, but I committed myself to releasing "at least one more" update. So when I released that update, some people might have been thinking it was the last one.

Right now I still feel like I will release at least one more APC update.

If I ever post all of the unused art assets and release the unfinished materials for the game, that's when you guys will know I'm done for sure.

You play as a male character (who is strongly hinted to be a descendent of Raptor + Cherry)

This girl is the main heroine of the game. It's still going to be a sandbox but it's going to be more focused on the story of the main character and the main girl, rather than adding 50 girls to the game and giving them 1-2 scenes each.

This is an amazing game.. But I think the dev should consider adding images/cg to the text only scenes of the game.. Adding cg/images to every available act/scenes will make the game 5 times better for many players..

I would have loved to include more art in the game, but it's not really that simple.

There's probably not a dev on the planet who made the decision to include less art in their game because they simply didn't want the game to have art. If you think about it, that doesn't really make sense. The reality is that adding more art to the game costs time and money that I simply don't have.

Great question!

The main character for the next game is named Owl, and his base personality is different from Raptor. One of my goals was to make sure that he wasn't a copy of Raptor. For starters, he's nowhere near as powerful. Secondly, I would say that he's a little bit awkward. My goal is to give the player a lot more control over how Owl behaves, and also how the relationship with Rainy develops.

At the start of the game you get the choice between three traits; Smart, Scary, or Perverted.

These will directly influence how you are able to approach some situations. They don't lock you out of any content, there's nothing you can "miss out on," but they allow you different methods to achieve the same results. It's all roleplay. Do you want to intimidate the girl, do you want to trick her and do perverted things, or do you want to take the time to get to know her and let the relationship progress naturally? This is the beauty of focusing on two main characters. I've been able to put so much more work into their relationship and the choices that the player can make.

Also, for the people who hate the idea of 'missing' content, I have you covered as well.

1. At the start of the game you can pick an "easy mode" option that lets you start with all three traits. I don't recommend this, but I understand some people are going to want it, so I included it anyway.

2. This game has a significantly better gallery system. If you unlock the Pervert trait much later on and you're curious to see how it impacts some of the early scenes, you can easily go back and replay them to check. In fact, the game has a 'label' system that tells you when a trait is influencing the scene. So whenever your Pervert trait adds optional text, or allows a different choice, the game tells you this is happening!

The quality of this game is far and above what I was able to do with APC, because I'm starting with a more solid foundation.
