I think cheater could be from tri betas, Magnar blackmails them to do his bidding or else he won't provide them with cheats/study material. Not necessarily that Sally is cheater but could be someone like Ron, didn't he claim he at best B+/-?

The one that rises the cheating points is Derek not Magnar.
Magnar boosters rises the initial percentage of the tests, meaning it was notes that helped MC study and the test would be easier. I think you just need to replay the game at this point dude

According to mini game mechanics Derek's cheats are cheats, but according to game lore Derek provides mnemonics and those in laterine looked like answer sheets. Those are more in line with Magnar with all hacking and asking for question paper sampling.

In-game Lore>>>Mini games, mini games are not necessary. They're only to milk development time and because DPC wanted to be a puzzle maker lol. And for steam achievements.

out of curiosity, which event did your MC choose to do, the fighting tournament or the music performance? and if so why?

i chose the fighting tournament, just because MC had already performed music previously on Ep 8, so i thought might as well do something new. not to mention with how much time we've spent on the brawler game, the fighting tournament seems like the right moment to finally show the effort of MC's training.

tho i'm slightly inclined to do the music performance too, just because i think it'll fit better with the whole MC being a rockstar. him networking and getting to know the right people, who knows what could happen? and we might have the chance to see tybalt bomb his cello performance

Well the thing is you wouldn't actually know what is going to be on the exam when making a cheat sheet, so generally you'd put whatever you think is important... which in the case of the Cheater being in the MCs class is why it had more than was needed. Or in the case of the Cheater being in another class had things that could be applied to the MCs test.

Again Im not saying specifically that the Cheater was definitely not in MCs class, but there are reasons to think otherwise.

I think you are not getting my point no matter how much I explain it to you. So I guess I will just put this aside.

But as a last attempt, just think why would you put answers for a 'Intro to Math' test into a cheat if you are not taking that class or test? The answers for 'Intro to Math' would ONLY be used for a 'Intro to Math' test, not any other test. So why would a cheat have answers for a 'Intro to Math' test? Unless you would usually answer questions about history with '1+1=2'

Magnar's notes reduce the score you need for renders. Derek's cheats literally help you with the answers to the tests. Words for English, skipping choices for Math & Gender Studies.

It's going to be path dependant this. I'd say the music performance is probably best for a Jill and Bella Path.
the tournament is probably more geared to an Others playthrough...

But the fact its a one or the other tells me its an important choice regardless and DPC will come to fuck us for it later down the line.

Performance is more in line with MGs or even Zoey heck even Jade, whereas For Lily, Quinn, Riona it has to be Tournament.

My conscious brain ignores it because I’m not sure that any of this nonsense (or DPC’s writing) has any truly deep reason behind any of it. But, here’s what my sleeping brain thought up in my dream:
We are not being shown everything (again) by DPC. MC and Derek may not be as stupid as they look and are acting.
Derek and MC may have planned ahead and planted their own traps.
1.) why did MC specifically take Sally to Leon’s room? Why did he look straight at that doll unless he already knew there was a camera hidden there? Derek is supposed to be intelligent. Maybe he suspected there is something off with Sally.
2.) The “end” of the Christmas party is not what it seems. Again, Derek planned for this. Set up a whole stupid “fake” scenario where he just happens to cut his finger off. Or did he fake it? Suspecting that they are being followed or watched- he sets the whole scenario up so that the group can catch the real culprit(s) in the act. Someone does seem to be lurking outside, but maybe the one with the jacket is Derek returning (because he faked the finger incident and is perfectly fine).

I woke up before my unconscious could reason what was in the closet.
So, my sleeping brain says Derek and MC are actually really smart and chapter 11 is more brilliant than it seems. My waking brain says this is a load of shit!

I would not think that Rio would be in a mood for a fighting competition and also Quinn is not currently in the B&R, so I'm not sure is she will watch.
