I think the whole mc doing something and its canon is a flawed argument.
Personally, I believe that DPC just doesn't know what to make the MC do.
Because if you think about it, anything without the player's input, the MC is a sensitive coward. An example after fighting the jocks, he starts saying he regrets fighting them and wallows for a few dialogue sentences.
Anyways the MC has to tell sage what happens because one, they are in a relationship and two its something that sage needs to know whats up. Remember she says that she doesn't trust zoey intentions and she is right about that.

The main difference is that DIK Zoey is more bitchy and cares more about herself than MC and his current relationship, while CHICK Zoey is more to herself and more sympathetic:
Example 1:
CHICK Zoey
zo "But now you know where I stand."
zo "I'm sorry you'd have to hurt someone to be with me. But I don't want to have any more regrets about us."
zo "I know I want this. And it feels so good to finally say it out loud to you."
DIK Zoey

That's an opinion by you. Tremolo wishes to continue being friends with Zoey (canon). Tell a woman that your ex-girlfriend / childhood friend confessed her love to you. And you still want to be friends with her despite that confession. Even if you rejected her advances. See how well that conversation is going to go for you. And if you think it's going to be a nice heart to heart where everyone gets what they want. I'd speculate you don't know women. Coupled with the fact the in all likelihood Zoey is going to be going to B&R in the spring. Should be a fun conversation with Sage.
I'm not saying I want to be friends with Zoey. Tremolo wants to still be friends with Zoey. This is out of the player's hands. You have no choice in the matter. And until the next episode is released, we won't know what that friendship will look like.
My point that I have reiterated over & over again. Is that Tremolo wishes to still be friends with Zoey. Telling Sage or any love interest about Zoey's confession will either jeopardize his relationship with his love interest or jeopardize his friendship with Zoey. To this point we do not know if he would be okay giving up Zoey if he has to choose.

How were they justified?
She said that his ex would know how to push his buttons. That she didn't trust her. But she did trust MC.
MC didn't accept Zoey. Sage was right about Zoey...but nothing happened!
MC loves Sage. Sage was right about the MC.
Sage loves MC. MC was right about Sage, and she had feelings for him last Episode.
End of conflict. Time for next conflict.
I'm sure many other girls will flirt and like MC, and declare it or just grab the guy, like Camila, Josy, etc. It means nothing, because Sage and MC are in love. They trust each other. They know what lifestyle they lead, parties they go to, and who they interact with. Sage may not like or dislike some girls, but that's nothing new. You outright reject women at the panty party at multiple occasions. Do we tell her about Mia, Erin, Clara, or Becky? Felicia, Charlotte and Leanne kisses? How about hugging Tara?
Do we need Sage to tell us about all the guys/girls that hit on her every week? No, we trust she can handle it, because the MC loves her.

This is such a theoretical, nothing issue.
Who cares about Zoey? Answer: nobody. Not even Sage, because she already dealt with that. And so did we.

We do know however that Tremolo wants (when it comes to Sage) to keep his secrets despite it gnawing on his conscience. Imo it's best to just rip the band-aid off while the relationship is still fresh and the secret is recent, rather than hoping it will never come out (and trust me, sooner or later almost every secret will somehow come out).

The huge difference is that all other girls that flirt with him don't have such a deep connection with MC. It's pretty clear MC wants Zoey to be his Best friend/2nd best friend (depending on what you tell Derek) again, and that can create massive complications. MC wouldn't care because he's happy with Sage, but Sage would still care about Zoey's feelings, especially if Zoey will keep on acting on it.

The thing is its not so much about Sage and its more about the MC.
An example is Heather situation, he got the blowjob on Halloween and he blurts out to Tommy that he got that blowjob as well with not inquiries to him. Of course Tommy would be pissed about that.
Now imagine with Sage, she already knows that she can't trust zoey to be around the MC and tells the MC about it. He shrugs that concern off and say its just a friend, and it wasnt just a friend.
So eventually something comes around concerning zoey, the MC dumb as he is will blurt out about Zoey confessing to him which will make Sage be like I told you so and probably get a bit pissed or anxious but then will ask how you feel about it.

Sage is okay with it. She said so on the phone. The whole issue is that she doesn't know or trust Zoey, not that she doesn't trust the MC. And she's done with that. She is resolved. She spoke her feelings. Her investment in MC & anxiety with Zoey is done. Finished. Over.
It doesn't matter what Zoey says or does after that fact. There's no need to tell Sage about every bloody interaction the MC has with women. It's silly.
There's also no indication that Sage gives a flip about Zoey being friends with MC later on. Since Sage trusts the MC, it's a complete non-issue.
That doesn't mean it won't come up ever, but it won't be some horrific revelation like "OMG Zoey confessed? How dare you not tell me! We're done!" Sage and MC have already declared their love, talked about a future together with potential kids, about Sage's real mom, previously met MC's dad, have a new Family together, etc. MC helped her overcome Chad. He's helping her overcome her parents divorce. He helped her find a new Family, and now potential real future family. They are beyond dealing with other suitors and exes.
I think some of you guys don't get romance, harlequin (fantastical), or basic relationship drama. It could be some soap opera style melodrama. But we've seen DPC's writing skills in just basic cliffhangers fizzle into nothing, alongside his many forgotten threads that are bridges to nowhere.
Stating Sage is big on honesty is like, yeah? So why would the MC have to tell her about every detail, about every interaction he has with all females? That's not within his character, nor is it some new raison d'être he needs to start following now that he's serious with Sage.
And we have no idea what DPC is doing with Zoey after we reject her. But for her to be some kind of "Romance Quinn", a love triangle, or the vengeful newly-lost love for MC that will come along again to destroy the MP/MG's...that's just silly.
Zoey had her big moment. And it's gone. Conflict: resolved.

Ok, let's for the sake of argument say that MC decides to tell her that. What are the possible outcomes of that discussion?
1- Sage tells MC I told you so and that's that. She thanks him for being honest and nothing else happens, putting the problem to rest.
2- Sage gets mad and SUPER jealous know. She gets even more insecure about her whole relationship with MC and drama ensues.
3- Sage blows a fucking gasket and makes an ultimatum to MC to stop seein Zoey once and for all. MC may or may not comply probably damaging the relationship beyond repair.
Why would MC need to tell her when the best outcome won't change absolutely nothing for them as a couple? There is no upside on hurting her with that info.
I can't believe that it needs to be said that this is a complete different matter than the Jade issue or even the restaurant issue. Zoey's confession to MC was a private matter between them and if he rejects her it's up to them if it should stay between them and MC and his partner gains absolutely nothing and stands to lose more (the same goes for every MG path, not just Sage) if they just put the matter to rest. Remember that Zoey confessed due to Brent egged her to do so because it was better than thinking about "what could've been" and there is no way thah unless one of them speak about it someone will find out so it's not a "ticking bomb" topic like Jade or the restaurant stuff.
The only way of Sage(or any main girl) finding out would be for Zoey to tell about it which why the hell would she do that? She stands to lose more than just her friendship with MC if she went ahead and did that.

I doubt it's a client, considering she hides her face when she sees MC if you accepted her. That gives me the feeling that she keeps het work solely at the Pink Rose.
My guess is indeed either husband or business partner. Then again, he seems to be smaller than Madame and although not unheard of, it's pretty uncommon for the guy to be the shorter one in a relationship.
