1. I'm not a fan of "TV series" type of games where you get a mix between sandbox and what's essentially a VN. My point is that if you want a sandbox, play in the sandbox mode. If you want a VN - play in the VN mode. The sandbox aftermath of the VN mode is easily skippable (just don't play it and wait for the next version). Having a sort of a hybrid between both is bad for both VN and for sandbox enjoyers.Please allow me to make some suggestions:

- it is really hard to increase the immersion in a sandbox game, because you do not know in what sequence the player will do which opportunity, but I think it is absolutely essential. I would thus propose to write chapters like episodes of a TV series, with a clear highlight / cliffhanger at the end. For example: you could have hyped up Eric's party story-wise, maybe by dropping already some dialogue in your last release or ending mid-scene with a cliff hanger. I would suggest you have one main event per release and that only triggers when all other opportunities are finished.
- the girls are quite 2 dimensional, I would add a bit more character by some random/chance interactions with non-essential dialogues. you could also make Kira & Max get almost caught by a member of the family. You could have Ann feel remorse that she attended such a party with her, errr: tenant.
- I would definitely add a bit more grind, and prolong gratification like in the original. I know, everyone complaints but right now, its like: let's make a porn movie with Kira. All I need is to wait an in-game week. and she will do
in the first movie. No expensive camera to buy, no series of photoshoots as a build up.. just straight to the main event.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.- I would add a bit more choice to the players ("spank hard, spank soft" with a tolerance building up. if you spank too soft, you loose Ann's points, too hard you loose the girl's love points but add submission. Enable me to interact with the girls, if that makes sense.
2. I've thought about adding random dialogue. I've decided against it for a few reasons: it adds additional maintenance and it grows with each version because some dialogue needs to be removed and new dialogue needs to be added the further you progress in the game. At some point it will be taking too much of my time, which can be used better for more actual in-game content.
3. I wouldn't. Forcing the players to repeat events over and over again just to see two more pictures every time until they play the full event is not what I want to do. Forcing them to go through extra steps is also something that needs to be balanced carefully, because with the new quest system, this means that you block the progress with this character until you get through that event.
4. As with the 2nd point, this is a question of balance. The time I spend on the game is really limited, so if I wait till I add everything that I want to add, you'll see releases once every 4-5 months. I'd prefer to have updates with meaningful content than to have updates with some grindy feature. Plus the quests/opportunities in BBIS are not dependent on random chance, because it complicates the framework that is driving the game to a point where it becomes hard to maintain and every new update is just a bugfix hell. I've had to deal with that in 0.9.4 because of the changes introduced in the previous version and I don't plan to have that again.
