God I fucking LOVE, like genuinely, reading all the "Boy who cries futa" that goes on here. It's hilarious.
Meanwhile the very easily verifiable reality is that most of the updates from at least December to now primarily features regular women, and the bulk of all those updates greatly favor them as well.

Actually, I wouldn't even call it spite. More like general amusement that such a thing could exist and be funded in spite of... well, everything.
Co-opted a title, shoved a bunch of headless shit in, added a bit of salt here and there, missed blatantly obvious cues. Oh, and they're on course to getting this done after a decade of work too.
I don't think TITS is any better but it seems to at least be similarly funny, given the fucking state of their art.
Funny thing is I did like most of Drifa's stuff, game would've genuinely been better if it was more like it.
As for the futa stuff and those complaining about the complaints about it, I think it's an easy target to make fun of, even more so if you're like me and don't care for it in the slightest. That and "ah, another futa for the pile of characters I don't give a shit about" is a fun feeling.
Let her get a chair and sit next to Evelyn and the lesbian knight if they're not just gonna go home.
So basically prepare for another by the numbers preg expansion because Wsan has to split focus between dicks again. Sigh indeed. Alante was already a disappointment with all the buildup she got for years.

It's definitely that there is too much futa content and not that they (as non-paying customers commenting on a piracy forum) want the dev team to add in more content that better suits their tastes/fetishes, while also constantly berating them.

And as much slop content this game has, futa is probably the worst of it. Only like 4 of them are meaningfully different from the rest and none of them have any depth besides Kas. Hell you can only meaningful romance those 4 and 1 of those romances just comes out of nowhere with no build-up.
Also Alante was like the worst comparison you could bring up considering how horrendous her actual release was, and I almost never call something in this game that bad.

Paying does make criticism more valid since they are the customers. Why would they care about the opinions from people who wont fund the staff they have to pay to keep the game alive?
Can you elaborate on 'slop'? And can you explain how all futa characters except 4 are identical? Also not all characters need to be romanceable, some wont due to circumstance, others wont due to preferences, that's how it should work.
The point wasn't specifically Alante, the point was it's an identical reaction to any futa content.

Genuine question. has anyone ever compiled the list of futas and shemales (or any other archtypes for that matter) then compared them based on personality. I know the futadom is all the same bullshit 75% of the time but its curiosu how often archtypes repeat in the game.

No, paying just give someone the right to voice their opinion through the official channels to do so, it gives weight for them to influence what the game should be, that criticism is worthy for them, not for us. Bringing it up here is meaningless as this is a piracy forum, money here makes no difference and in every other context, it shouldn't affect the content of someone's opinion at least from a general outlook

Was asking cause it genuinely seems coc1 had less repetition despite having similar character archetypes. Coc2 might have more futadom overall and per capjta, but coc1 most were complete switches or leaned towards sub (I think heckel was more dom with Izma being alot like Arona cept way more controllable.)Could be wrong ofc.
Shit, i'm kinda hard pressed to remember one futa dom in CoC.
You had the mouse girl, she was pretty submissive. Urta was more equal. Izma you had to dom the shit out of for her to join the camp. You literally become her alpha IIRC. Marble was kinda dommy i guess, but it's really more like an equal relationship.
The dragon chick was also mostly subby. Anemone kid was also very subby.
There was that one shapeshifting omnibus who you could dominate, but she would kinda reverse dom you? Sera is kinda the same in TiTs if you enslave her and let her keep her dick. Wish CoC 2 had a character like that, i found the dynamic interesting.
The horse yoga girl? She was kinda dommy-ish, right?
Only other ones i can think of are the cum witch and Izma, but letting both of them dom you leads to a bad end.

Anyway, futa was always one of Fen's big fetishes, which was why it was in CoC1; but he wasn't the only writer AND he let people donate to determine what he'd add to the game. The audience was more vanilla back then (well, general furry and monstergirl audience) so it resulted in mostly chicks.
TiTs came around and there was more writers, and more cash coming in for whatever Fen wanted to write. Plus, the writers and community CoC had cultivated who liked the unique parts of CoC1 (like futa) stuck around. So you get more futa and more kinds of futa.
Fen got to write more of what he wants, and he like dommy chicks with dicks. This attracts a community that likes the same; the community produces writers who like the same. Thise writers and community roll right over to CoC2.

Loppe was more a switch and I think one of the most aggressive in sex futanari in coc1.No idea if it's a moded thing but sex goes on for more than 1 hour and you gain a point in toughness too. ...Because paying someone does not automatically make what you say true and vice versa? If I use someone else's Netflix account to watch something, does that mean my opinion doesn't matter because I wasn't paying to watch it? If I read a book at the public library, does it mean my thoughts on it are immediately null and void because I didn't pay for the book?
What you're saying is the same as, "somebody that doesn't buy micro-transactions in a free-to-play game does not deserve to get their voice heard by the dev no matter how much they play the game or well-meaning their voice is." That's just silly.
I do not have the wherewithal to educate you on what slop means, just look up slop content. I did not say they are identical, I said they aren't meaningfully different. As in, the different characters fulfill different niches and do not render each other redundant. Hell, let's just look at the futatuars(I am going to refer to any character with tits and a dick as part of the futa umbrella as it's not a huge difference in practice most of the time.). I'm sure you'll disagree as it's your character, but Orlaith and Kaly's content are very similar to the point of redundancy. Both are futa centaurs that try to coax the PC into essentially being addicted to giving them oral. Kalysea does this better and drives home the point more, so if I didn't know Kalysea was a commission(which the average player will not) I would be left wondering why all that content wouldn't just have been given to Orlaith. I mean hell, they're even both focused on protecting nature.
This extends to regular futas as well. Dragon Eve is not super different from Arona, who is not super different from Octavia, who is not super different from Hashat. Sure you can say they each have slightly different things going for them, like the sex marathons with Octavia or elf obsession with Hashat. But at the end of the day, these differences aren't really big enough to make each character distinct enough to justify the amount of work put into them. They all blend into a mush and I don't find myself caring about them as a consequence.
Though I guess none of what I just said matters as I didn't pay for the game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
