I mean we go through this song and dance every couple of months, someone will come in and say "erm actually there's not alot of futas in the game, nothing you guys say matter it's a piracy forum." There will be some back and fourth and then half the thread gets nuked. I can't speak for everyone but I'm pretty sure the vast majority of us here know anything we say here doesn't matter to the development of the game and it'll continue as is regardless of our grievances.

Hell, let's just look at the futatuars(I am going to refer to any character with tits and a dick as part of the futa umbrella as it's not a huge difference in practice most of the time.). I'm sure you'll disagree as it's your character, but Orlaith and Kaly's content are very similar to the point of redundancy. Both are futa centaurs that try to coax the PC into essentially being addicted to giving them oral. Kalysea does this better and drives home the point more, so if I didn't know Kalysea was a commission(which the average player will not) I would be left wondering why all that content wouldn't just have been given to Orlaith. I mean hell, they're even both focused on protecting nature.

This extends to regular futas as well. Dragon Eve is not super different from Arona, who is not super different from Octavia, who is not super different from Hashat. Sure you can say they each have slightly different things going for them, like the sex marathons with Octavia or elf obsession with Hashat. But at the end of the day, these differences aren't really big enough to make each character distinct enough to justify the amount of work put into them. They all blend into a mush and I don't find myself caring about them as a consequence.

Kaly and Orlaith don't have at all the same attitude. Kaly is actively malicious; Orlaith is just kinda smug. Orlaith isn't trying to trick you into anything, she's just a sexbuddy who likes topping. If I had to pick someone redundant, I'd say it was the prostitute centaur from KM; every sex scene she has could just be transferred to Orlaith with slightest of tweaks without change.

Just because the circumstances of sexing one is different than the other doesn't justify an entire new character when the content and personality are so similar. Just have an optional expansion for the existing character and it would be the same thing.

The extreme character bloat in this game is exactly because of this problem.

Nah, don't think that would work at all. Kaly's content isn't similiar enough. They scratch different itches; its why I like Orlaith much more than I like Kaly. The 'circumstances' are what make the character the character.

I'm not asking for absolutely no similarities between characters, that will never happen. I just think the game would be better if they added to existing characters instead of adding new ones when possible, both for variety and making each character actually memorable.

It is not an irrational leap in logic, especially in a game called corruption of champions. Hell, it makes more sense than Arona instantly becoming your subby bitch just for beating her in combat when she's been dominant her entire life. Or the PC and Kasyrra instantly falling in love with each other with no prior build up to it. Or any number of other things in this game hand waived away for the excuse of porn.

And more importantly, I wouldn't like it.

Just as bad as is the hint given to find the new low level spells being so vague it can apply to three to six spots depending on how you look at the idea of a dead end and the word small. Even when I found the spells in question they aren't at the end of the dead end as savin stated. Who knows maybe I found a different set of spells that I wasn't aware of being placed there and weren't there last patch.

Barely any character in this game has anything close to feeling natural. Like I said, numerous things get hand waived away to get to sex.

I think I've been pretty consistent over the entire time I've been here saying that I think that kind of thing is a terrible idea. Characters should not diverge that widely; its why I'm against gender swaps. Make a new character. Brienne should've been a new character, for instance.

A character leaning more into their dominance isn't even close to the same as what happened with Brienne. Brienne would've unironically been a great character if she actually had thoughts and feelings on changing genders while still retaining a good chunk of her old personality. The concept isn't flawed, the execution is.

That's just speeding up a natural progression, which is something thats just understood in a lot of these kinda games (though I think more scenes implying or showing time spent offscreen over time would be nice and help a lot). Thats very different from progressing into a character that doesn't align with your current character at all.

Dominance =/= evil. Liking blowjobs doesn't naturally progress into magically enslaving someone into being a permanent cockslave. I'm not saying it can't be done; I'm saying it shouldn't be. Fits better as two characters.

As for Brienne, I've said the same thing. Genderswapping is fun when you actually engage with the fetish. Wsan didn't do it to engage with the fetish; he did it to skirt the rule of one companion.

You ever wonder how common that kind of stuff is in Savarra?, just some magical artifact rewriting your whole being into another person and everyone around you rolling with it?

We know it does happen in other instances, like, the horse stylist, Evergreen's daughters and even Hana for doing a solid for Keros. Even that guy from knot cave had as a backup plan a magical formula to turn guys into bimbo ladies which seems like a huge deviation from whatever project he had in mind, dude just knew the champion would be tempted with the power to fuck with even more people and worked extra hard, so that tells me that things like that, while maybe uncommon, might be a real situation the regular person would have to deal with, like the anal egg thing or being abused by plants, or tricked by "forest spirits" for some of that sweet soul juice they don't have

So while the execution is not great, Savarra is the kind of place where someone becoming another person because of magic is something you just have to accept, the kind of things no one points out despite being weird as fuck. Or maybe they just didn't care about any implication and are lazy, I might be reading too much into it
