VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Dreams of Desire [v1.0.3 GOG DE] [Lewdlab]

Great game. Interesting story, well-made models, and amazing sex scenes. The models look original apart from a few similarities to default Daz models. The plot also hooks you in a little bit when your antagonist turns out to be a good guy and the one you least expect to be is the actual villain. I do wish the endings were a little bit less intuitive to get since all of them revolve around having positive and negative points for characters, so getting all the endings took a bit of time but great game anyway. The inclusion of the gallery is great and the scenes are well-animated. Hope the dev's next game is also as good and doesn't take as much time to release.

Pros:
- great renders, very beautiful girls, especially sisters. Tracy - the best (my humble opinion);

- great plot, i mean, the idea (main narrative) is really great.

- good texts, not too difficult, not too simple, without mistakes or whatever, very easy to read.

Cons:
- Fetishes. Game was obviously created for wide audience with great variety of fetishes. I can understand that, BUT it is not optional. game just has all of it and you can't skip or avoid it.
I mean some people might enjoy anal, but at the same time it can be a huge turn off for the others.
Personally I hate anal, but in the end game decided that I almost always have to be at the backdoor (70% of scenes), but I never chose ass during the game, how come, wtf?
My favourite girl is Tracy, but in the Perfect End all scenes with her are anal, WTF?
I thought it could be somehow connected to night creeping scenes (in the guide I read that game kinda remembers your choice), so I reloaded to the scene with creeping Tracy scene (you can choose there ass or feet) and chose feet and got through game again, and know what? - nothing changed.
The same goes to lesbian scenes, there are a lot of FF scenes, most of them appear just out of nowhere and are too far fetched, and, of course you can't skip them.
At least Alternate End compensated bad sides somehow.

- MC is stupid and annoying pervert. Seriously, according to the game LORE he is 21, But man, he is acting like he is 12-14. Sooooo stupid. But, well, it is bearable because, if you feel like you're starting to degrade while reading all his stupid, perverted and cliche thoughts, you can always just skip this dialogues to the action.
BUT, what was unbearable is the MC's obsession by anal sex in the end (just what i wrote before), that just made me crazy, I literally hated this.

In overall i guess game was worth those money, i mean, I had quite a few good moments while playing it, and I have a foot fetish heheh.
Would I recommend it to anybody? Definitely no.
But at the end - it is a matter of taste of course.

its fairly good, the writing is fairly subpar, especially in certain sections and things feel a bit forced in how they come to be or how they're dealt with, interactions with the girls are nice overall, but it switches too easily from being mind controlled to being in love, also unfortunately the ending is pretty subpar and you can only end up with one girl, despite fucking them all or having threesomes before hand, which sucks, should've been able to get together with the main 3 girls atleast for a harem ending, maybe toss the aunt in aswell, didn't really enjoy finding out i'm only with one girl and that various threads are still left hanging and aren't really resolved outside of a "leave things alone" or "time will tell if they'll get better" situation.

if you just want to fuck girls and don't really care about the story etc then this'll be fine

is still one of the Best Games which is Completed, on this Site, even for the Age of the Game. The Visuals are Great, the Story is okay.
More than Pretty good, just try it out.

Y'know, I wanted to like this one but... I can't. Genuinely, this game bored the shit out of me. The plot was pretty cool at the start but eventually, I started to grow uninterested. Character-wise, they're all pretty surface-level and just pretty faces to look at. I will say though, it does have peak animations and renders. But yeah, the game is pretty anti-climactic and even has some of the most cringey dialogue I think I've read in years. Adios!

This is very good game.

Game has great graphics even it is bit old, story works even it being quite weird (as plots are on games have mystic/supernatural/etc things), plenty of sex scenes with good lighting and a lot times player can see what happens at downstairs not just point of view.

Excellent game, great plot, and stunning graphics. The entire game was a lot of fun and excitement. Because every models are so diverse, everyone will have a favourite. I truly loved interacting with each model based on their personalities and appearances.

im gonna be honest here, this was not my cup of tea because there is not to much interaction/free roaming you can do and to be honest around 90% is just scenes and nothing else, so overall it is the reason im giving it a 3 it had a lot of potential but personally let me down

A bit of mindcontrol, a bit of family drama and some magic to connect them.

Story
Standard game family setup: mom that falls in love with son dick, big sister that is initially a bitch but soon learns to love brother dick and a shy sister that develop sexually on the brother dick. Having Marcus that also being a pervert that wants to fuck his hot mom makes the story a bit more interesting. The magical history helps in setting up the tension of the events.
What a lot of games are missing is the transition from hate/lack of feeling to fucking a character. Here there is a direct transition from one side to another using "mindcontrol" as a reason....not the best excuse but at least make it a bit more plausible.
The game allow you to come inside/outside but does not followup with a pregnancy scene.

I found myself fond of the corruption ending so it would have been interesting to see a bit more content in that direction before the ending. (kind of a corruption of MC). Also given how the love relation with aunt evolved during the game it is a shame that in the last version we do not have a aunt only end.


Girls
Big boobs...thats the main thing. While I am not a big fun of them, the way the characters looks overall make me pass over this. The developer put some effort in creating the models and making them realistically (again, except the boobs). There are small details on feet and abs that makes the models seem more realistically. I find Helen to be a true goddess, such a shame she was not a main character.

Not muck of personality attached to them tho.



Gameplay
Nice music on the background. There are animated scenes, but not all of them. I also like that the developer came back and added extra content (as an intro to the story from Tracy point of view.

Great story and excellent renders for really good and sexy characters. Ms Turner is just amazing! The only bad thing is that there's not more of it, the few scenes with Marcus mom and that it can be a little difficult to get all the endings if you don't read the walkthrough.

Game is good but only... Specially.. If you like mind controling and stuff .. animation and sex scenes are quite okay ... Not bad but not even very good also ... characters are ok.. but MC feeling mostly feels like a little dum and a pervert kid who got mind controling powers but he is adult know ... Story has some potential .... And if you are here of sex scenes ... Then skip 5 chapter's directly cus thier is no fucking just only teasing and stuff ( lots of night molesting , 1 or 2 blowjobs , few are hand job and few are boob job ) in those total of 5 to 6 chapters ... It's like a very slow taboo porn with a good story

The models are really hot, and a lot of the scenarios are too. The writing needs work, especially proofreading. Some of the lines don't quite sound right. Not a lot of great animations and some of the scenes end far too short. Overall it's a fun fap game.

I first played this game quite a while ago, before its Definitive Edition was out and ready to be played. In fact, back then, I did not know that a DE was in the works. Nonetheless, back then I enjoyed the game and got its different endings (well, to be completely honest, I do not recall to have got Alice's end back then. She never was my favorite LI), including the bad one. My favorite girl was always Tracy. She had the looks, but she also had the strength that made her my favorite.

Now I have played this Definitive Edition for the first time. Much as I did with the previous version of the game, I have pretty much played it thoroughly. Although this time, as I already knew the game quite well from my previous experience, I have avoided the bad ending altogether.

I am not aware of every change introduced by the DE of the game, but I have noticed mainly two things. Firstly, the game has now many animated sex scenes. I have not played a lot of games with sex animations, so I do not have much to compare with here. But in my experience the animations in DOD: DE are of high quality. Secondly, there are also new scenes that were not present in the previous version of the game. Mainly, the good endings have been reworked. Now they are longer and objectively better. Well, except for Alice's, whose ending feels rather short and lacking, especially when compared to both Mrs. Turner's and Tracy's.

I am not a young man anymore and perhaps because of that I found the great quantity of sex in the game a bit overwhelming and even tiring at times. But nonetheless this Definitive Edition is very good and better than the previous version of the game. Five stars well deserved.

Tracy is still the girl of the game for me. No doubt about that in my mind. She es even the protagonist of the DLC which gets unlocked once the base game is beaten. In the same sense that the MC/dreamwalker is the successor to the prophet, Tracy is pretty much the Helen of our time. And her fantastic new solo ending is a gift for us, her admirers.

One of my favourite games.
You gotta love everything about this game. Women are great. Story is not a piece of art but still unique and well written. Pacing is also good.
One of the best games renders and animations-wise.
A Must Play!

As many point out really pretty good renders and graphics with good amount of content and variety, but story especially characters are atrocious some the worst and just horny to the max (which seems unnecessary and unfitting even more so given main plot any ways...)
