Recently there seem to be many haters of this game, but let me tell you this:

This is like the GTA out of story based lewd games.
This game pioneered the concept of high quality interactive lewd games.

All other games, Milfy City, etc. are based on THIS.

Let's start with some objective facts:

This game is from 2017 !

-Even today the graphics and character models are one of the best and most detailled and easily top many new games. Back then it was next level shit never seen before.

-Audio. This was one of the few to not only have sounds but accompanying background music that dictates the mood/feelings. Even today there are very few games that can match that.

-Atmosphere. It is one of the first games to feature a fully fledged well narrated intriguing story and set the benchmark for future games.
The story coupled with the audio gives it a movie like experience.
Every game after was compared to this one which speaks for itself.

-Story/Gameplay. Obviously this is a incest game. But the scale at which this genre was tied together with the well written story is yet to be surpassed.
The pacing was perfectly set slightly right of middle towards getting blueballed which made the reward afterwards much stronger.
This fits the high-quality aspirations of this game well as this is not your regular jerk of in seconds title.

-The story is complete. Yes, I had to mention this, because even today many games don't manage to accomplish this. This is just another proof of it's superiority over other games.

I've played many many games after this and this is the most complete and intriguing one of them all. As I said this set the benchmark which is yet to be surpassed in many aspects.

First of all i would say - fck patreon. Landlord and Landlady is this a medieval fantasy? For real? What censoreship fckup writing like A LOT, destroing the mood. I have seen what game thread not 1 time, but something always tell me:"No dude, just no". But it has so good reviewed and this is finally getted me... And after 5 hours of play, i ended completlly bored, got blue balls and searching for my favorite dodj`s to warm my dick-sama from this teasing nigthmare.

Ppl says it have amazing story, but it has not. It pretty average bullshit what i have seen billion times. Mc is only arrived home to become a casanova... His pc get purple screened with magical words what makes womans OBEY. Some dev`s try to jokes at this point, but this one take it seriously...

All h content what i get in 5 hours is fcking teasing. Keep at mind what mc has mindcontroll spell, but he is dumbass and can`t use it properlly. It s like a bureaucratic hell. To fck a grill you need to do 10 lewd foreplay things to every part of her body. No less!

Great story, hot girls, perfect artwork, it takes some work to get to penetration but it doesn't matter the story is so engaging it keeps you right there. I'm still not through the story but it just feels like its all gonna unravel for the MC. We will see. Great work!!

One of the most interesting games on here. The art is well rendered and detailed, the characters have more going on then first appears, a variety of locations outside of the home, only nitpick would be the animation aren't fluid, however still it deserves 5 stars since the overall game as a whole is top.
I would recommend this game to anyone that enjoys family games with a mind control plot.

Good characters, good story and multiple endings, there is a mystery in a certain part of the story, I really liked it. in my opinion it would be even more perfect if it were possible to defeat Nora without killing, and enslave her, maybe have more scenes and involvement in the story, on the part of Aby and Latisha (I think that's the name, if I was wrong I apologize).

This one is a good introduction to Ren'py games. Story-wise this game is pretty weak and character building is almost nonexistent. Still, the game is complete. There's music. The renders are fairly well done. Don't expect a masterpiece but it's not bad for a porn game.

Huge disappointment for me. Story in this game is definitely trying to be interesting but if someone is not into very specific themes like hypnosis, weird dreams and some old evil order stuff its just not entertaining at all. I actually stopped playing right before the ending because i was literally bored to death and i didn't care about what will happen next. I didn't care about characters at all because everything in this game is very poorly written. I didn't feel any connection with the characters in the game. Every relationship feels very forced, mainly cuz of hypnosis. The fact that you can't see everything in one playthrough is definitely a bad thing in a game like this which is just not interesting to play. And pacing of the game is just horrendous. For half of the game you will not see any real action.
But the action itself is rather good. Renders are looking very good and the same goes for girls. Girls roster is not that big, but it's not that bad. Mom is easily the best girl here. Honestly it's probably one of the best looking this kind of a game i've seen. Sound is also good. But it's just too little to redeem the game.
Game is definitely trying but for me it fails miserably. It just simply not good in story department and at the same time fap department while looking pretty also disappoints. I was definitely hoping for something better.

Played this again in 2024, and it was far more enjoyable this time for some reason. I tried to ignore the bad things and only focus on positives. Definitive Edition added brand new scenes and proper animations to the game, so the sex scenes are just better now. Many good sex scenes overall. It's still is one of the best looking games out there, even after all those years.

What should i say? The game was just great. The story was really well written and really gave an immersive experience. Also the Characters were really so sexy and the renders were just to good. Great Game

This game saddens me. There has been potential and many ideas. The story could have been so much better... Instead we have this, half-baked mishmash of ideas.

I won't waste my time trying to properly structure this review, nor give it much additional thought, as that seemed to be the developer's intention - go with the flow and add some cool and barely thought-out elements. Partially excused by the theme of dreams, but I feel inclined to believe otherwise.

The exploration of the impact of such powers on one's relationships goes nowhere with all but the very ending being a win/win choice, except for the 'bad choices' that result in immediate loss... A sorry excuse of a 'choice', if you wish to call it that, really.

If you wish to know EVERYTHING you need to know about the game's design philosophy look no further than the time the game forces you to by giving you no option NOT to do that - and that would have been fine in and of itself were it not presented as an input you demand from the player. Kind of defeats the point of later bashing you over the head with it later - and the devs realised that and just simply didn't do ANY bashing... Like I've said, all choices that diverge, even slightly are between two good outcomes when you consider the entire story and the relationships you develop during it... but they really shouldn't. This is a bane of most of 'these' games, but we really shouldn't accept it.

The game is weak story-wise, the characters are poorly written and the only saving grace of the game seem to be the low-hanging narrative fruit that have been jerked off to, both figuratively and literally by many.

Man, i am having a really hard time finishing this game.
The basic concept is pretty good but the execution is absolutely terrible, mainly because of the pacing and writing. There would have been a lot of potential in every character but their writing is just terrible and bare bones. The build up to the lewd scenes is basically non existent, they start abruptly and finish even more abruptly.
The character models look fantastic, and the renders are great, there are some animations but they are just 2 frames switching between one another.
If you are interested in just pure porn with the least amount of character arc then you will like this game. This is not a game that will pull your emotional strings, not even close. Personally i like to get invested in the characters and the story, i could not in this game.

Where to start when discussing a classic?
Dreams of Desire is arguably among the best adult-oriented Western "visual novel" types developed since the boom of Ren'Py and demonstrably proves as much within the first few minutes of its execution, introducing a cast of stunning women, the eldest of whom (your mother) is the stereotypical MILF-fantasy fetish icon from her mature yet elegant facial features, right down to her sculpted body and massive, gravity-and-age defying breasts... yet she bares up well, both to the ravages of critical review and the increasing advance of technology behind similar games.

Dreams of Desire manages this feat, its cast in particular, by dint of attention to detail and dedication to its presentation. The characters exhibit individual ticks, the storyline contains some genuine reactivity and branching paths, the art assets (with particular regard to the mother and aunt) are exquisitely rendered such that they remain crisp, clear and evocative at almost any reasonable resolution. The artist also demonstrated some nuance in posing the models, veering away from the mundane to present imaginative angles on the erotic content.

That imagination extends to the storyline as well, though not always to its benefit.
The story revolves around our protagonist awakening some, potentially genetic, power that allows them to manipulate (read: corrupt) those around them. That this entails coercion into more depraved, sexual acts goes without saying given the genre.

Hardly new for pornographic content, but inasmuch as it plays an increasingly pivotal role in the story, I firmly believe it is detrimental to the more intriguing elements of the player's burgeoning intimate relationships. Indeed, the author seemed so intent on exploring these aspects that Dreams of Desire includes several jarring tonal shifts, transitioning in minutes from a lusty blowjob or peeping scene, to one of subtle horror. An effective tactic when used sparingly, but the developer's attempts to shoehorn it in leads to several scenes falling flat.

...at least, to those who came for the naked ladies.

Still, for all its grandiose narrative trappings, absurd leaps of incredulity and flirtatious bouts with dark fantasy, Dreams of Desire remains firmly grounded in erotica. Even as you're battling for the minds of your family, or wandering amid an ominously dark variant of your home, they never fail to deliver on regular servings of buxom, lustful and beautiful babes for your satisfaction.

Mechanically, the game represents standard Ren'Py conventions well, with item highlight navigation and minor scavenger-hunt mechanics, alongside branching dialogue trees capable of being selected at predetermined stages.

Again, nothing new for the genre, but flawlessly executed and something of a gold standard for its many imitators over the years.

The whole story is quite interesting?Wouldn't say its something special,but diffrent than others games.Choices you have to made drive you to multiple endings,that's very important for the game.I think story could be routed better than it is in some way.For the girls,tbh I'm really disappointed.They aren't the most beautiful and also their personality is quite simple and nothing interesting at all :/.About sex scenes:average/good but nothings special aswell.

Overall I think the game is average.

Graphically it's ok, but the main character (theoretically controlled by the player) is a completely senseless, mindless IDIOT! He doesn't think at all and acts as if his mental level is too low to finish elementary school.

The story is good and the choices you make really matter which give this game some replay-ability.
If the animations are a little too rough, the art is amazing and the girls really have their own charms.

Excellent! Good renders, the girls are hot, and you don't have to play long for a new scene. Almost every kink you can think of along the lines of force fantasy, mind control, taboo, and sex positions... has a scene. The ability to play out of order.. to explore on your own terms is limited... but the story line is so good and compelling that its worth it to keep clicking to see what comes next... and of course something is always cumming next...

The graphics all look pretty good and blend in well with the backgrounds, the whole game looks very pretty.

I had hoped for more of a mind control focus but its only barely touched on which is a shame but whatever. The story is fine, but gets a bit long winded in places. Its a visual novel though so expect lots of reading, there are a few choices here and there which is nice and a few endings,.

Overall it's a solid 4.

This was the game that got me into adult gaming and for good reasons.

The story is good with nice twists and some unpredictable turnouts. In order to achieve this the game creates characters with realistic personalities which makes it easy for the player to care about them. Let's be honest for a second however, a story and good characters are great but we want sex in all its form. Thankfully the game delivers quality even on those parts with a variety of nicely rendered sex scene with different characters.

The only part that's "bad" with this game is that if you play it nowadays you might disappointed the sex scenes aren't animated (like similar newer games). Apart from that, the game is flawless in my opinion and totally deserves the recognition it has received.
