VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Dreams of Desire [v1.0.3 GOG DE] [Lewdlab]

This game is simply pleasure. Story is simple except mind control scenes. Atmosphere is fit with dream word and real word mystery. First half of the game is mostly teasing but I don't have problem with that. Results of the choices revails in the end so choices does not matter so much but it is ok for me because the game flow is smooth. Girls are beautiful and render is good.

I really liked this game. At first I hated some of the characters but as the game went on the characters really started to grow on me and became really likeable.

The story was amazing and some of the scenes even made me want to know what happened next. It felt like I was reading a novel for the story rather then for the scenes. The scenes were great of course as well but the story in my opinion was just greater.

The only thing that bothered me about the game which wasn't a problem for me since I followed a walkthrough. Was probably how difficult it is to win the game or well to get the "good ending" basically. I think it can be really hard for people to get the "good ending" for this game without the help of a walkthrough and if you played it almost all the way through and realized you need the help of the walkthrough I can't imagine the player being very happy.

So this one hit me in a different way to usual ... like I wasn't super into the smut as I didn't find most of the characters attractive (aside from the little sister, she was the saving grace) ... but once the supernatural stuff kicked off (I'm trying to be as vague as possible to not spoil anything) then I found it really compelling and kept playing to see how it all turns out.

So yeah the renders are well done and it has a great story ... bit iffy that so much of the ending comes down to if you enter a particular dream or not (so I'd recommend a peek at the walkthrough) and most of the characters have overly inflated boobs ... buuuuut, it's still great and definitely worth a play.

Amazing story line so far. Decent animation. Encounter scenes are not far apart. There is a lot of dialog to read, some people might not like that but I love it. There are also story changing choices which is a huge plus with no hand holding. Some voiced for effects is also nice.

Just finished this one. I liked it a lot! Incest isn't really my thing, and the "roommate" and "landlord" alternatives were obvious and silly, but the actual plot was interesting, the pictures were really good, and it had a nice ratio of hot content to story.

This one is so bad, so dumb, it almost made me quit before I know what great games there are out there. It does nothing good with its script, is full of dumb thoughts, and has dumb incest... The worst kind of games.

Raises the bar in terms of storytelling and visuals. Tracy's arc was good, and for future games I'd like to see more character depth like hers. Although the corruption/magic/dream plot didn't sway me, it would feel like an injustice to give this less than 5 stars. All-round well put together and a recommendation to try out.

Really not bad. At first I thought the writing was awful, but as I got more experience reading VNs on this site I ended admitting that this one is probably above average. The plot is pretty bad and really derails into nonsense towards the end, but at least none of the characters feel totally cartoony, which is more than could be said for most VNs here. The emotional connection created with specific girls is not there though. It's just really confusing and hard to take any of their problems or pathos seriously when they start doing their porn talk 5 minutes into every conversation. The renders are sometimes good and sometimes bad. I like the branching and the interactivity. That's a strong part of this VN. All in all pretty good effort, I think this dev's next project should be a lot higher quality.

Enjoy the game, good renders, music, animations, the story is alright. Since the game is about mind control there isn't much development between characters, he says words and lewd stuff happens.
Tracy is my favorite, after her Alice, Jenna and Aby are very hot.

The black things are creepy, didn't enjoy all their scenes.
For me, every girl in every game should be optional. Some scenes are cool on the build-up but get's to a certain point in the game where you should be able to reject them.
I usually don't like "mom" role in these games... or them you try to get into your family panties because they are family, thankfully, the last I don't think that happens in this game (too much).

Alright, this is the real fucking deal right here.

First of all, this game is done. As in, completed. You might have noticed that most porn games on the internet are simply unfinished, milking their patrons or donors for all the money they can as they slowly crawl towards their next meager patch. But this one is already completed, and it was well done too. From the few finished games we have, most are rushed at the end, but Dreams of Desire has loads of content in the last few parts, and good content too. So just on this it deserves to be praised and should be played before most any other games, because it will provide a complete, well-polished experience.

The story is typical porn nonsense that leads a man to plow his immediate family (but not technically a family unless you use the much recommended Incest patch). But there are nice little twists that make it engaging, I found myself pretty engrossed in the story and it shows some mystery, some humor, and even some scary shit sometimes, which is all very welcome because it never takes over the overall tantalizing aspect of the... well, porn.

The models are incredibly sexy, there are girls of various different builds, which is a plus. And the sex scenes are incredibly hot, and though they take some time investment to get to, they do not take hours of playing to reach. They also aren't locked behind stupid repetitive gameplay loops and don't require navigating badly created U.I. or excessive choices.

This game is simply a well written mid-sized story, with a bunch of hot sex scenes, a few different endings, and good characters and models. I cannot recommend this enough, it truly is one of the best that are out there.

A good AVN about an MC gaining supernatural powers and using them to fulfil his desires with the women living in his household.
Using a walkthrough or a mod is recommended as some of the choices can have unforeseen consequences later in the game.

- The eerie dream scenes, with a couple of well timed screamers
- You can choose either the 'love' or 'corruption' route for each character

Cons :
- the ending felt super rushed
- you get less choices as the story progresses, and they rarely matter
- the characters are super cliches, albeit well executed (especially Tracy)
- The UI could have been better and more minimalistic, it takes a large part of the screen
- the angles chosen to display the animations could be better

Story 6/10 - Story is ok but and its actually the weakest part of the game in general i could say that its good, and it is but i feel some elements, especially supernatural didn't add much to is, at most only provided an easy explanation on "why" every single heroine wants to hump MC so badly.

Sex-scenes 7/10 - Sex scenes are in general ok written and made, but they aren't anything you didn't seen already, but still pretty good.

Heroines 8/10 - There isn't one heroine that isn't sexy, milf are even pretty outstanding, younger girls are also nice, their personalities are also pretty well done, but that's just about it.

4/5 overall, just don't expect anything spectacular, its "Good" game in general but also just "good" game.

Damn it, it's good. I've been wrong to judge this too early. This game is awesome and I was a complete fool to be a picky prick. developer deserves a goddamn medal. hell, he can marry my sister too if he wants.

My very first game from F95Zone which was about more than a year ago since this review. And it has stood the test of time.

Dreams of Desire is a superb piece of art that has interesting characters, engaging story and excellent renders. If you haven’t played it, I strongly recommend it.

As I’ve said the renders are excellent and a treat to look at. The H-scenes are beautifully crafted and very hot. The addition of the gallery helps players re-live those scenes too. Excellent job LewdLab

There isn’t much to gameplay as it plays more like a Visual Novel (VN) with choices affecting the ending you’ll ultimately see. For those looking for a richer gameplay experience, this may not be the game for you. Experience the story, make choices and live with the consequences to sum it up in one sentence.

The story is the main selling point of the game. It starts off as you’ll typically expect in a game involving one guy and several girls however it becomes abundantly clear that not everything appears at it seems. As the mystery and plot begun to unfold, I couldn’t help but be drawn into the story. The characters were super interesting and interacting with them was fun. Although some characters did take a backseat towards the end, which is understandable. There are some parts which leave you scratching your head, but the overall delivery and pacing is well done.

I played the game expecting some nice H-scenes which was definitely there, but I stayed for the story which will instantly grip you in.

Just absolutely excellent renders and one of few games where pretty much everyone in the game is attractive. Although the basis of the son living with the family is everywhere, the mystery-thriller aspect of this make it more intriguing.

i liked the quality of game, particulary, the images. i lost my track in begining because the landlady-neighboor-roommate thing and i don´t like the supernatural plot in general, but good game.

Excellent story just beautiful beautiful renders, a rare case that all the girls are beautiful. Story is a nicely thought of fantasy and hypnotizing really helps push the fact that in these games sex come to ease .

A game that far exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect such a well-crafted story that makes you think while you play. I really liked the characters and even not being a fan of models with huge breasts (the classic milf), the way the story and the characters were made, made me give up this detail. First time this occurs. Stories with complexity and reality will always have a huge impact on game quality and this game is certainly one of the best I've ever played in Novel category. I really hope there are other games in the future, you guys rock!
