I've never played this and don't really know about the dev. However, there's been a surge of retar... err... people calling a few devs milkers. I blew up on one dude in another thread over it and got warned, deleted, infractions and banned from posting for a day. It's frustrating as fuck seeing that shit.

There's only one dev I know of who IS a milker, but, I won't start that here.

Unfortunately the first few episodes have aged very badly in terms of quality and the update did nothing to solve this issue. I've gone through the image files and used a third party software to denoise them (EP 1-4).

I don't know about MP. I haven't play it yet. What I do know is that people was calling him a milker at the level of ICSTOR (8-9 months) and Gumdrop (1-1,5 years) for not releasing an update after 6 months.

And it wasn't even a simple update to begin with, he re-did a whole game in just 6 months.
