Omg ! wasted time for this game...This game its over unless he want to continue the story, i don't know why but the developer his so cold about Midnight Paradise.

Considering that the dev left DoD with an ambiguous ending with MC dad's final scene, and the fact that the spin-off mentions the city of Midnight Paradise, it seems clear that when he's done with Midnight Paradise, he intends to make a sequel to DoD, perhaps with the presence of some character from Midnight Paradise as an important secondary character of that possible sequel to DoD.

I remember defending MP against people will legitimate gripes, only for the Dev to say brb gotta work in DOD again. You're in the thick of the story in MP, but you decide to beat a dead horse? Fix what isn't broke? Was it really worth it? What about the fans of MP do they just fall back in line once this is over with? Back to the stretching of each update.

No idea. Everything will depend on how Lewdlab progresses Midnight Paradise. The last thing we want is for the dev to become another Kyle (also known as Gumdrop Games), Icstor or Psychodelusional.

Unfortunately the first few episodes have aged very badly in terms of quality and the update did nothing to solve this issue. I've gone through the image files and used a third party software to denoise them (EP 1-4).

Update - 2021/10/21: Added EP4 and a scene from EP5.

Seems nice but causes noticeable banding in first extra (dream mom 4.jpg) not sure about others. Maybe if you convert them to png or webp lossless first it won't happen

Most logical guess could be that he wanted dod to be available on steam for obvious reasons, and hopefully he won't delay mp development further.

"It seems clear" is putting it a bit strongly. It is possible that he intends to do a sequel using MP characters, it is in no way clear. Its just an assumption on your part with very little to base it on.

In my opinion Landlady, Tracy, and Jenna are hotter than the cast of Midnight Paradise and warranted animated sex scenes.

I’d take Joyce and Isabel over all of them. *Shrugs* But that’s besides the point DOD has it’s day in the sun, the focus should’ve been MP for obvious reasons.
