As a general hint for any game, every time a game gets updated you can just read the title, because the title will say the latest version and the reason why the post was updated.

Download the Definitive Edition. Some people say that the quality isn't that good and one guy is even making his own patch with improved CGs, so maybe you'll want to come back in a week and play that.

I see, that's what I thought as well. Got a bit confused because the Definitive is labeled as v1.0 and the Elite is 1.0.3 Thanks for clearing that up!

Haven't played this game in years. I thought it was already finished ?
"New animations " I see in the changelog. Is it real animations ? or like it was years ago a slide show of 2/3 images ?
(It was enough back then to count as animations. But now, things have evolved)
Worth playing it again ? after all this time ?

Mega I am trying now
All of the others between Mega and Nopy, never seem to work for me
Nopy I have tried many times with the definitive version, and I have a super fast connection (100mbps+) and all I am getting for speeds is down in the KBPS. Can someone give me some help or advice?

UPDATE: Mega is stupid AF because it keeps telling me my in-browser storage is full. What the heck does that even mean??

This happens when you use the alternative clothinig for her. There isn't a "d7 shop 13 a" image, at least not one that I could find.

I'm playing this version again after being away from the game for like 2-3 years. One of the first plot holes that smacks me in the face is the story arc about the missing research papers. NOBODY handwrites research anymore. There's been a computer on everybody's desktop now whether it be a pc or a laptop since the mid to late 90's. Our phones have had cameras and word processing for at least 20 years. Yet here we have a sister stealing MC's hardcopy when he could just go and print out another one using an inkjet printer that costs less than a replacement cartridge for the ink.

Not gonna lie when I first heard the news of a "Definitive Edition" of DOD I thought that it was gonna be 4k renders, crazy good animations, the whole nine yards, but this still feels like a step down in quality compared to Midnight Paradise. There was dozens of renders I saw that were subpar, and when you have guys like Dr Krieger working to improve the quality of renders which should've been the responsibility of Dev it makes you question the point of this whole "Definitive Edition" thing in the first place. I just didn't understand why the Dev chose to put MP on the shelve when that story finally started to pick up steam and get rolling, we finally started to get consistent sexual content, and then everything came to a halt.

It would've made better sense to finish up the MP story that way he could've devoted 100% of his time and effort into this "Definitive Edition", and then drop the inevitable DOD2 hints to hype that up. But instead it feels like he rushed this whole thing just to get it out for obvious reasons and the quality suffered because of it. To sum it all up this is basically the original game with slightly better renders and "animations".
