Hey, I don't play MP so I don't know what happened there, but you aren't the first one to say that and every time I quote someone who says that, I never got a reply.

According to his patreon, MP's last update was on Apil this year. Why people say that MP's last update was a year ago?

I can't really think of any other reason then the fact that there are people who feel that the money they give to him for one project, should be used for said project. I only ever pledged to him once, just to get the complete edition of the game, DOD. But I understand people feeling frustrated and feeling like they are being ripped off due to the fact that the dev is spending time and taking money out of the project people are actually backing for, to work on another project that for all intents and purposes, have already been completed and not what they actually want.

I understand that. I believe that a dev is always free to work on other games if he wishes simply because they're his games and it's his life, but I get why people may feel that way, especially when the dev announces a second game in the middle of the first game so people don't know how much time the dev already spent working on that second game without the supporters knowing. In that case I would recommend people to simply stop supporting the dev because, in the same way that a dev is free to do whatever he wants with his life, people is free to do whatever they want with their money.

Now the thing is, this dev wasn't the case. He literally said "Hey, I won't work on MP anymore until I finish DoD DE". If some people feel pissed or frustrated by a second game, what else do they need to stop supporting him until he returns to MP? It wasn't something hidden or confusing. People knew exactly how their money was being used.

Most supporters don't complain here on F95 anyway, because if they have any issue with a dev, they can express it in the same Patreon/Subscribestar with an easier acces to said dev. I don't remember seeing a Lewdlab supporter badge in this thread in a long time honestly, but I haven't been paying attention to that so I may be wrong.

so after replaying this game a bit I have to say that the sex animation are great now, similar to echoes of lust animations.
loading old save from old game and seeing those 2 pic gif animation vs now is a huge improvement

I dont like Mc to have only one Partner though i feel empty

You can not do this sir, it's very enticing when i say this believe me. he may further stall the current project which i wouldn't say i won't like him if he does that but may be another time as Avatar was re-released tens of time so there is scope down the line.

I'm very disappointed. I enjoyed this game the first time I played it and even became a patron afterward while he was developing Midnight Paradise (though only for several months because of issues I had with its development). However, this time through DoD I wasn't really feeling it and all the hoopla the developer talked about what he was adding to the game didn't improve it that much and really was hardly detectable. Midnight Paradise arguably had a better concept with no silly paranormal elements and with an anti-hero pitted against his brother and father for control of a financial empire and against conventional morality to obtain far better looking love interests. But here the developer can't seem to pull the trigger on either the storyline or the sexual elements as it continually bogs down.

I'll give you Isabel, since she's gorgeous when she has her hair down. But Joyce looks too old for my tastes, I get that he was going for more realism but isn't it missing the point of CG porn? Hey i get it dod had cult following (I'm one of them) and still has up to some extent, but your reasoning behind mp being "flop" is outright ridiculous. Wait for the mp to finish, if your criteria of not so flop games are based on the likes they garnered. And no, number of updates doesn't necessarily point out stages of development (prologue, body, epilogue) which totally makes the difference in the end.
And your claim of sandbox being people's favorite which has been decided by sum of 257 out of huge 368 voters 2 years ago. So don't you think the sample size is way too small.

Then I reached the "sandbox/freeroam"-ish part and stopped. Played the game a long time ago and thought it was a good one, but now I cant see why.

Most choices are (just) game over choices ... the worst kind of choices.

Unfortunately the first few episodes have aged very badly in terms of quality and the update did nothing to solve this issue. I've gone through the image files and used a third party software to denoise them (EP 1-4).
