Why was this made instead of finishing the previous Femtality game first???
Probably to avoid burn out? As you write and develop games, there becomes a point that the characters and story become pretty much self written, you can't do anything particularly "creative", because it would be very apparently out of character.

Sometimes you get an itch to do a certain scene or have an idea, or perhaps just want to play around with something totally different than what you usually do; At those times you can either make a non-canon scene(s) or you pick up a side project. A lot of devs tend to choose the latter, because it lets them get out of ruts to play with something else and it tends to keep away from burn out (as previously stated).

Alright pc pass is simple, however since i needed to pay and i am not a leaker (trust me i tried to disect the code, alot of stuff in there left over like an inventory system and everything but the code is registered as safety and i don't know enough about memory decompiling and such to extract a proper code so i just paid the person their due)

So since i had to suffer i figured might as well make the pass a little unique when i hand it out,

khxll zgfyo vzpew wgori kzopg ijifq mkcdc ovirr cgqqc emklb zrmfy jmqsa hb

I love ww2 cyphering and this uses the tirpitz style cypher of enigma. Ww2 is great history, like the german's last assault on the 16th of december nineteen forty four. or how at the start of the war technically on the 11th instead of later like some historians use.

I gave you guys the letter positions in that previous paragraph. If you're observant enough you guys can easily crack this code.
Something is really funny about hiding a code to an AI game inside a cypher. What's next, an ARG?

Or they are just milking patrons who are more interested in the Female lead game so now they can take extra long to develop it since they got 3 games to work on now.

From history of previous devs who did this, it's safe to assume that at best, 1 out of the 3 games will never be complete and at worst, none of them will because they will burn out by simply having 3 games to work on with separate fanbases for each demanding updates.

Are you new here? It's a horribly bad sign when devs start up new projects before finishing the previous one but their braindead supporters don't seem to realize this because they don't know the history. Look at most of the abandoned games here and realize, that most of the devs behind them did this exact same thing

They all ended up either abandoning some projects or stop developing games completely. Extremely rarely do we see devs start up several games at the same time and end up finishing all of them. But the average f95 users and patreon supporter got goldfish memory.

Nerro Slipboi Interesting discussion here, lemme get in on it

Essentially, 99.5% of porn games on this site, unless it was made by a traditional Japanese eroge company (Alice, Orcsoft, Miel, Lilith, etc) are made by individual gooners just decided one day "hmmmm i like feet, im gonna make a game about feet"

We have no plan, no skills, no talent, no vision, no discipline, no ability in coding, art, writing, design...we have no ability to make a game, except for our passion for some feet content!!!

So we start...and for 99% will fail instantly, wont gain more than 5 patrons and stop within 3 months.

For some of us...the game will actually gains some traction, and we stick with it.

Well, because we are still just individuals hobbyists with no plan, no vision, no skills, no discipline no ability in anything creative (thats why we're making porn!) we just....do whatever we feel like and say "because Im an ArTiSTè! Do you see Leonardo Da Vinci finishing his arts? non non non"

In the case of Femtality, I explained it back when FEM X started, but essentially many people were complaining they couldn't fap by controlling a female main character, so i added a male character, but it got really complicated and they didnt like him, blah blah blah and people were complaining they needed more story behind the scenes to give context to their fap, etc.

Anyways, given that so many people were giving me the same feedback, I switched it up and created a game focused on satisfying their requests. And...I mean i guess they were right, cause support for Femtality X grew alot and I now hire 4 people to work on the game. I still update Femtality once every few months but I was pretty clear to everyone that's a back burner game.

At the end of the day though, we are just individual hobbyists. We dont work in a corpo studio, there's no producer breathing down our necks, no HR telling us to come to work on time, no marketing director telling us when the game needs to be "finished". You know when the game is "finished"? When no one wants to play it, then its finished. If you want those type of "finished" games, there's a bunch of studios that do that too.

Anyways, with all said, I'm here to announce my 4th (technically 5th) upcoming new game!

Come to my discord to check it out!

No offense, but i dunno if announcing a new game while trying to join a conversation about unfinished games being abandoned is the smartest play.

That's because I completely dismiss the notion that finishing games is the correct/standard thing to do. It's a silly relic of pre Internet days and old school corpo studio thinking (usually dictated by old school marketing departments to justify their existence). All my patrons know this, I never misled anyone about it. If you like the game, why would you want development to stop for it? This is porn, you can always add an extra fapping scene

That's a horrible mentality. This sort of mentality is also why we have TV shows with like 20+ seasons that usually suck towards the end. How were we ever gonna get masterpieces like Breaking Bad or other great media/movies if the creator didn't have a clear vision for the work with a defined start and an ending?? That's not old corpo studio marketing, that's a basic literary rule for having a good story with a cohesive narrative and a good product.

If anything, those cases where creators/devs keep extending the product, that's the actual greedy corpo marketing strategy. Just keep extending the work as long as ppl spend money on it until you get a massive pile of convoluted shit and the audience starts to hate it. Then you end up having a shitty game that lacks cohesiveness and doesn't play well.

The gist of the matter is; many of us prefer complete games over half-baked, early access games. Why? Because we don't enjoy getting involved in games that either ends up abandoned with no conclusion, or drags on forever until it becomes bad and we start hating it. I sincerely don't believe any players wants this if they think about it, but you seem to be convinced that's the ideal way to make games so I will never feel comfortable supporting you, sorry.

It's perfectly fine that you don't prefer this. That's your preference.

But if your preference was the only way to do things (thankfully it isn't, infact it's the minority when it comes to indies) no one should start making a game unless they have a clear ultimate vision. If a game is failing, they better continue working on it and "finish" it even if no one wants it and they're losing time and money on it.

To any developers reading this, or anyone doing any project infact, don't fall for this trap. Just because you started a project does not mean you must finish it. You only have one life, you owe your precious time to no one, live it doing what you think is right.

What you SHOULD do is be clear and transparent. If you're not working on something, don't say you are. Just tell people, don't be scared.

(PS, dont compare yourself to Breaking Bad, the creator and writer had over 12years Hollywood experience and was an experienced writer and executive producer of the X-FILES and movies, he also who owned his own TV series before he started Breaking Bad, he got 21 mil funding before he even started. We are not the same)

Not always, but USUALLY starting a new project allows the developer to take another leap in quality, check out the new game teaser, looks much better no?

bruh what are you on about? most tv shows with multiple seasons DEFINITELY do not have a clearly defined ending from the get-go. why would they? they literally do not even know if the show will get renewed for an additional season. ur just wafflin

Dear one, you say that you are amateurs, but why don't you just group up and try to make one good content together? There are 2 developers here, they are worth each other, but for some reason they cannot try to make a game enlit3d and Salia Coel. It seems to me that you would be able to create a masterpiece of both femdom and regular fighting games.
