what are the powers of the developers on this site?do they get to ban people if someone releases their game here before they want it to be?is the developer admin of a thread where his game is posted? m just curious
Effectively none. If someone ends up leaking and we update the thread, if the dev has ownership of the thread they CAN mess with it and remove links, but then they'll quickly lose thread ownership (seen it happen today actually). And they can't ban anyone, only moderators+ can do that.

None, I mean they can ban/block them on Patreon and they can never subscribe to them again, and some people actually won't leak for that reason as they like getting the game early, but also don't like to leak stuff. Some people you will never change their minds, they just won't leak it.

On the first page it is already clear that the branch belongs to dev, I don't know about the rest. But I am sure that dev very rarely visits f95
Yeah, last I saw they haven't been here in a while, I'm sure they are aware, but are not to bothered by it.

I've seen it happen many times. Developers removed links to an update a few times, thankfully restoring the thread is easy.

But, don't worry, I suggest keep an eye on reports in the next 30 minutes or so

Thanks for the clarity

Yeah. Let it not distract them. I'm sure the absence of dev is due to his work on the game/updates. I hope he continues in the same spirit and gets more support.

Yeah, most developers do not like being here (a lot do, don't get me wrong), but they feel it's better to be present and help fix any errors or be front facing for more support. But F95 runs a lot of good developers off, so it's probably for the better. Seen so many good developer's ran off by the clowns here.

You know, I've noticed a lot of similar cases, especially because of other whining fans, then all sorts of hate or pressure on developers... so the main advice for them is to not pay attention to all the nonsense and follow your plan.

As you said, there are a couple of good developers who know how to keep everything under control, but not everyone has enough nerves and strength to withstand something like this

something iv'e noticed is that when Devs set public release dates their games almost never leak, for exemple devs like Talothral, Vanderer or Buuplays their games are never leaked

It's a piracy site, devs have no power here.

At best they can have control over their own thread but games will still be leaked.

I see this game is completed now. and I think I read it's gonna continue in the sequel. Gonna guess I should wait for the sequel unless I get bored then ? Cause if im being honest I only liked the demon story line in this game. I never finished 1 playthrough as I got bored with all the sex if I had to guess I played maybe 50% or so that was last year. I figured probably be best to wait for more updates if all i cared about was the demon story.

Are we doing this again? Why mark this complete when the dev said the story isn't over yet? I remember this same thing happened with Timestamps, with mods being a bit overzealous and created a separate thread for what accounted as two chapters of the same story. Which is what I assume is the same thing happening here.
