I had the event that both detectives are sufficiently corrupted but nothing about this Ms Gonzalez investigation has shown up. How do I get these? I've tried visiting the police station a bunch of times and also tried waiting for several days in both the principals office and the player's home. Before you ask, I do have both of the drugs in my inventory

Just keep going to the station in the afternoon and it will trigger after a few more visits.

I'm in the middle of corrupting Susan Hooter, having just gotten the rent money from Peter, but it's been almost two weeks now and she hasn't approached me. From what little I can understand from reading the events, everything looks fine. Is there a way to force the HooterStart event to fire?

You need to just keep playing and she will come, I not for sure but you need to be a week or 2 away from the point she needs to pay.
It could take 1 week to 2 months but it will happen.

Does anyone know why my Money values always reset to -999,999,999 ?
I tried Debug and Mod options but as soon as there is a scene change it reverts back to the same negative Money set.

Using Lexville mod pack v1.2.2.3 for 1.11 versions and i am on 1.11.0.7
I startet a new game just now and there is no problem

i understand so game is somewhat alike Lab Rats 2 but because of interface is all awful.

Extract to a new location due to image changes, otherwise you might get wrong images for certain AskForSex combos.

Not really if you consider how the development is structured:
Core coders take care of the platform
Randoms write events

If there's no incentive to add to the game, all that happens is technical updates.

Some of the stuff from Lexville has in some form been incorporated into the base game over the years. Barteke takes care of updating the mod to be compatible with the latest game version, but nothing beyond that. And Lexville may still be compatible with other mods, it just depends on what the other mods are doing and what Lexville is doing.

It's also possible that the warning was from the time before the introduction of the current modding framework, where you basically had to copy the base game and then unpack Lexville into that folder.


Another big mod which I can recommend (maybe even more than Lexville) is

by neme. It's not so much about adding new features but instead to expand the base game with just more events everywhere that fit that existing style of the game.

Looked over the changelog.. and yea, it still looks like more improvements to the game engine. Which is fine. But just suggestion, based on how many wonderful hours I put into this game (and its precursors) back in the day:

Choose one or the other
1) Make it a game engine. Y'all seem to really love working on code improvements, background stuff, adding capabilities... so just own it. Stop putting out revisions in the context of 'its a game' and focus on making it super easy-modular to use (code improvements), getting other adult devs on it, and let them worry about creating content. Basically do what Ren'Py is doing with a focus for this exploration style gameplay

2) Put down 'Content' milestones, where you commit to having x% of any release always be new content. You decide the x%, decide your release cycle, but don't put out updates unless there is also 'new stuff for players to do and see'. That will make sure you avoid player burnout, where they stop looking at your releases because they just don't expect anything there for them.

Really saying this from a place of love, because I do like this project and I'd like it to succeed.
