It is one of the most brought up topic in discord. There are no ways right now in the game to view log changes except by sleeping before midnight.
So if you sleep after midnight:
Everything happens but you just cant read the log?
Or do some stuff happens like money or influence or food but something else doesnt happen?
Do household members gain skills and happiness/affection? Get affected by a captain? By an educator? Do slaves escape?

How do u switch follower position? It's a pain in the fking ass. I have to remove them all, then pick the right order. But if I save that lineup it just gets saved in alphabetical order so the next time I call that group, it is wrong order again.

Do they all have to be free? Like not doing any other job?
If they are making another job they have a penalty (-20, IIRR), but they can still be educated
-20 penalty for holding another job while being educated, except if it's an "away" assignment like Foreman, Arena, the Abbey, then it's -999.

AFAIK everything happens, you just can't read the log. Slave escapes and other events requiring decisions will still occur in the sleep window.

I'd also like to know. Cuase you wouldwant the people that are gonna capture to be the last ones to hit, so order it's important. But switching position is not consistent, and I dont see how you can switch your position besides being the first one, which I dont like cause I like building the MC with manhunter and capturing slaves.

Only by manually setting them. The add follower group shortcuts is automatically ordered by girl ID. Smallest number first (Av01 - Lovisa) and biggest number last (Av220 - whoever is the final AvRan NPC you added to your house, could be Arizona, could be your child, could be any random).

You cannot. The MC is always positioned first.
Is is "The Last Relative" quest in WIP ?
Yes. This version of the Tier 4 alpha does not yet have the full quest.

Yeah not possible to fix the order they take their turn in combat currently. If you don't have whoever your A team is properly trained up for captures yet you could temporarily use Cassius, Truls, Aaron, and Ayden (all Herculean) so everyone does good melee damage regardless of order. Einar is another good choice but he's not available immediately. Once you have enough training time in you can train up anyone you want to be both a brawler and a warrior so at that point anyone should be ok at captures (albeit not as good if they're not also Herculean for the higher strength cap).

Yeah that works in the early game and they are pretty tanky, but if I remember right you lose influence for every fight and early on I'm trying to build influence so I just wait til I have 6k influence before I capture any of those so I can just immediately sell them. The space hulk group in particular is a really nice early game cash influx from that, although depending on what you're focusing on in the early game those fights can be a bit tough the first couple of weeks.

I usually start with enough influence that I can pick up Ayden on day 1 or 2, so if I also go grab Connor, Felix, and Sammuel the first week that gives me a pretty solid team even though Dying world means they're all just using whips with no ammo pack for awhile. Those 4 can easily take down the space hulk group with just whips and assault rifles.

Btw, I dont know if this is entirely true.
I dont think I've ever gotten a slave trying to escape if I go to sleep after 12.
That's why it makes me question everything else.

I always see people recommend getting the most expensive mercenaries from the beginning and quite honestly I dont know how you guys afford it. I always start my run getting prowler to capture slaves, Laika cause she starts in the fronline despite having low melee skills, Rifle Savant and Bud (using Kyle's riffle). I rush to get Kate so she makes me money in the Arena and rush to get Truls to make him join my team once his affection goes up. Meanwhile I clear the yard, train stamina, meditate, and make the house self sustaining food wise. Meanwhile I keep slaves to work in the Academy, a gardener and workaholics. Oh, also I get Talika as an educator. While I'm doing all this early game stuff I just keep killing low tier punks like the one at the Docks or Redhaven and enslaving and selling them.
I feel like I'm missing something big cause it seems like people have a very different approach to the game.

Grimdark A Dying World starts with very low control and they use expensive mercs to keep hunting people. It's a race of earning more from the services of the mercs than what they cost. Ayden costs what, $400 something per day? If you can use him to catch 10 people, you pay his upkeep through the sell price of one, then still have plenty of money to keep. He has WEGA armor and at this stage, especially in advanced tactics fights, he could be the primary target. Your most armored guy is taking hits for the team. He doubles as nurse too. Not necessarily the start I would choose, but it is pretty doable.

Yeah plenty of people prefer to stick with low salaries until they can passively cover the cost of more expensive mercs. I've tried it that way as well but I just find I progress faster by rounding up the top tiers immediately so I can maximize the amount of money I get from selling slaves. From a passive income standpoint I'm usually in the red for at least the first 3 months but slave and workshop sales are enough to make up the difference.

Right, Ayden is expensive up front but he comes with Wega armor which makes him by far the best tank you can get in the early game. I do play Grimdark/Dying World so he rarely gets much use out of his coil gun unless I randomly find some coil gun ammo from bosses I fight. He uses a whip pretty much full time in my games. Similar deal with Connor, he brings his own Duraplate with him so he's a bargain. Felix and Samuel only come with Combat armor so I do eventually have to spring for some armor for them.

I used to swap in Kate pretty early because of her shadowborn trait, but in the latest version she seems to be guaranteed to start at venemous so it's not really possible to use her for a few weeks unless you started with ridiculously high charm or manipulate. I usually start with poor stats in both charm and manipulate so I'm entirely reliant on dinner parties to get Kate, Cassius, Truls, and Aaron to a useable affection level. I don't bother with pool parties anymore since Dinner parties just seem superior in almost every way now (up to 4 affection per day for most of your house without the party animal trait compared to a max of 2 for pool parties). Pool parties are also capped at loving while Dinner parties are uncapped.

Once tier 5 bounties start showing up I usually swap in Bud and toss him an assault rifle and then a plasma gun since his ammo pack works at 0 prosperity as long as he's happy. I tend to go round up Clea asap as well for the same reason. 2 people with a working ammo pack is generally good enough that I never have to buy ammo since you occasionally get plasma ammo from tier 5+ bounty drops.

I have at least half a dozen adult offspring working at different tasks but in the "Faction Overview" screen.....none are showing up. What am I missing?

What are some efficient ways to raise MC physical stats? Can MC not be educated by the educator? lol
For MC it's mostlly the dojo, NPCs have passive options. There are some efficient ways to gain certain stats though.

Physical and Combat stats

- Melee and Ranged skill can both crit their way all the way to 150 with zero training (although I would recommend actually training ranged a bit)
- Strength can crit to 70 with melee attacks
- Dex can be randomly gained by killing Charuks (not sure what the cap is on that but I think 120)
- training dex up to 80 allows you to start in the close position which eliminates the need to ever waste your first turn moving in

Other mostly free stuff
- assigning some girls to morning blowjobs will get you to 90 willpower without ever having to train it
- caressing girls during seduction can crit your charm up to around 70
- fucking girls anywhere other than the dungeon can crit your copulation to 100
- whipping the girls in your dungeon can get flagellation to 120
- request sex can crit your manipulate up to 100

Actual training but with good success rate
- drinking whiskey and house wine at the Orient can train science to 50 and academics to 80 (random but pretty high chance)
- crafting crossbow bolts has a chance to gain artisan and blacksmithing with every click
- reviving a downed follower (with or without doctors kits) can raise medicine to 90
- rough fucking the girls in the velvet room can get bondage and flagellation to 70 each (expensive though)

Can't think of anything else other than books or classes that has good success chance.
