If you make this move in the right moment, it´s a good investment. I have made it after ending the Aria Quest. At this moment the control of Ikaanos it´s 45 and it´s prosperity it´s 35.

Cons:
An investment of 75.000$ from Fort Serra treasure.
A daily expense of 150$
Pro.
No chance of loosing troops. That´s important. If Control it´s under 40 a 15% daily loss it´s, roughly, a guard per week, so nothing to sneeze at.
Power value of Fort Serra of 150. That´s 300$ of income per day. Plus Accountant and your administration, +480 give or take
Fort Serra Toll. that´s variable, but the last day was 138. Plus Accountants and administration +200
50 influence Daily.
+1% of increase City control up to 60. At this moment 7% dayly.

So, all in all, you gain 550$ daily, so you get your investment back in 140 days. And in this 140 days you get 7000 of influence and increase the control of the city by 10%.

Not bad at all, I must say.

Game is good but i wish there would be some qol improvements

  1. When you add slave to houshold it would be really helpful to have notification marker (similar to "avaliable scenes") informing that you already have another character that uses the same model in your household
  2. Important stats like affection or escape risk could be displayed under the portrait in npc menu so you dont have to click character to check it. Also adding "new" symbol or text somewhere in character window in npc menu if character was obtained recently would be nice
  3. Even primitive autocombat for battles which are trivial and you dont want to capture slaves.
I had more in mind but i forgot

the extremely awesome automation mod does #3 and a bunch of other things but it's out of date now, hoping the dev falls back in love with this game and updates it

  • Both the Second and Third Republic will now purchase soldiers (between 25-100/day, 25% chance) if their soldier count is below 10,000 and if they have enough cash ($100k+). A purchase costs between $6,000-$10,000 and will deplete the republic's funds accordingly.

Well, the Third republic it´s at war, and not so far away I get an event where 2.000 soldiers were whipped away. I´m roughly 20 days in the 3rd republic run, and I have not seen in the end of day screen any notification of this happening. Also, in the last 5-6 days I have been keeping an eye in the soldiers numbers of the 3rd republic and I have seen no increase in the number of soldiers.

It´s a "silent event" that it´s not notified in the end of day screen and I just have been unlucky in this 5-6 days of watching the soldiers numbers? Can any one confirm if the event works properly?

It´s important in order to know if you are strong enough to deal with the Dengi invasion. We are talking of an average increase of 15 guards per day. Currently I´m may be 15-20 days away from the Dengi raid, and my original plan was to put Dengi invasion 30 day latter, treating the raid like a recon in force by the Dengi, so I´m may be at 60 days from the start of the dance. Having this 1000 soldiers (or not) can make the difference between success or defeat.

The event of The Republic works right. I had some increases in the number of soldiers. But it´s a silent event, not appearing in the " end of the day" screeen.

Alea Jacta Est!.

Today I had the Dengi Marauders event, and I put the Dengi invasion at +30. Skiguard Troops are only 3500, so I´m a bit scared and I´m praying that my War Chest would be high enough....

About the Marston Watchtower..
Biggest con for me is that claiming the tower permanently removes the bandit toll event in Cole's Canyon.
An event where 2 of the 3 groups can be those with 3 female bandits. So if you're lucky (or F5-reroll) you can get 6 female slaves for the market/your mansion.

Hey guys, in Imogen's barrow there is a mysterious barrow that when you open the locked door, you go in and see a light that you cant get closer to (stopped by your followers). Can I go to it if I am alone? Or is it not available yet.

About Seve events.

There are 4 Seve Events.

1.- Walking to the city. No requisites. I have done it several times and seems to me a regular walk to the city, the same that with any other NPC
2.- Looking to the stars. REquisites Anal Exp 13, you get one of Ocult. Fine and dandy.
3.- Go to Sentinell Hill. Requisites Anal wear 60. Currently Seve have Anal wear 70, and in the Events screen don´t appear a trip to Sentinel Hill. Taking her as a follower and manually go to Raven Woods don´t seem to work, either. I arrive to the location and I can not accede to Sentinel Hill. What I´m making wrong??
4.- Temple of Idra. REquisite Corruption 40. Well, I went to the Temple of Idra, with corruption only 36 and I get a piece of talk and a +1 to Ocult.

Using the new Educator framework for Brawler/Warrior you need a Physical School and for Perfectionist you need a Mental School. What are these? Is it to do with the Nursery? Do I need to build them?

They're the options for your Educator.

To train Brawler/Warrior, you need both Combat AND Physical to be turned on.

There's one thing I've been eternally confused about: Where exactly do you see that an NPC is a paragon? The game always says that freeing Aria causes her to gain paragon status, but I don't see a new icon or any effects that appear after I do so.

You need to move your mouse over the NPCs name.

About the Captain who trains guards: I know its limited to 4 guards for the training to be efficient, but what if I assign a fifth guard who already has 80 melee, 80 ranged, 80 discipline? Does that also worsen the others training?

Something don´t work right with the Dengi invasion.

Taking data from the wiki



The Dengi invasion started with 5300+ warriors and my forces were 6700, give or take. well, checking the data I must expect

Skyguard losses. -35 to -65, +100 because the Dengi force it´s 5000+ strong, so 135 to 165, let´s say 150 per day.

Dengi Losses: 20-25 plus 15 for the battlecruiser Ulthar, +10 for City power above 15.000,+10 for Aesir above 1000, +5 for Cyder house above 900. So 60-65 loses per day. Plus -5 per each group of Dengi whipped by the Mc.

So in 5-6 days, with the Mc staying confy at home, the Dengui should be under 5000 ( and this will lower the Skiguard losses to a more manageable 85-115 per day, roughly 100, while I still keep my forces well above of 5600. And my MC don´t stayed confy at home. First day I whipped 8 Dengi groups, second day may ¿4 more?, so everything should be nice and dandy. And I have enough money in the bank to buy a regiment of 1000, and some more troops with spare change...

Well, after a couple of days, I checked the Diary. And the numbers don´t seemed right to me. So I open a notebook and played a couple of days more.

Day 1
Dengi: 5320 to 5267, Four groups wiped, Dengi should be 5240-5245. Let´s say 25 less than expected.
Skyguard: 6420 to 6183, 237 losses, when the maximum should be 165

Day 2.
Dengi 5267 to 5217, 2 groups whipped. Dengi number should be 5197-5193. . Again 20-25 less that expected.
Skiguards: 6183 to 5988, 195 losses, when the max should be 165

Day 3.
Dengi 5217 to 5163. No MC action. 54 losses.
Skiguard 5988 to 5783. Again well above the theorical 165 max

Day 4;
Dengi 5163 to 5113. No MC action. 50 loses.
Skiguard. 5783+260 event 6043 to 5849. 196 loses. Again well above the theorical 165 max

I´m missing some point? I can not find any pattern that what the hell it´s going wrong

All the events firing are negative events for 3 consecutive months that reduce control and prosperity. Despite playing on easy mode "sandbox" every time I try to increase control an event happens at night that negates that I did. It is mind numbingly stupid.
