I guess having him as janitor the entire time didn't help his stats any lol. I just kinda forgot about him.

I got another question. I got Elixir of Lesano from a quest. Is there any way to get more? And what is "taint"? Is it bad to use this?

If you don't turn in the evidence, you should receive more slowly (1 per 30 days or smth?).

Very high taint will turn a person into a Prowler, apparently. Haven't actually tried it because that sounds bad.

Ah right, because of her ambition. But she's one of my dedicated followers.
Clea, Doyle and Ansel get the +35 boost to barkeeping skill.

While some others might have initially higher bartending skill than Ansel, due to that big bonus his max is much higher. Particularly now that Extroverted and Int can be trained relatively easily.

Minor nitpick: Aria and Arizona actually enter your household as slaves (Assuming you actually pursue trying to buy Aria and then subdue Arizona), but can be freed to assume Paragon status. You can't re-enslave them though.
I added a note about those two in the post, but the main intention was to share the calculations for enslaving through dialog. Since those two become paragons once you free them, they follow the paragon logic for re-enslavement (meaning you can't, because they aren't Milou or Felix)

(except maybe Milou and Felix, didn't know they were even possible since they're paragons but rumor is they are).
I didn't include that part of the code because it's separated a bit from the main logic but here:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
The way it works: If the NPC is a paragon (status 5), it checks if their ID is 40 (Milou) or 34 (Felix), and if it is, it sets a variable "parok" to true
The next line checks if the NPC is a mercenary (status 4) or if that "parok" variable is true, and if either is true it shows the Enslave option.

So in short, yes, Milou and Felix are hardcoded to be the only enslaveable Paragons

I think the importance of this bonus is a bit misleading. Unless I'm missing something, the skills and bonuses of anyone working at the tavern including the barkeeper are only relevant if your reputation is less than 1000. Once you hit 1000 you can assign random scrubs with no skill and venemous affection and earn just as much. This does not include goldwalkers. Those earn based on their suitability as prostitutes.

I just carouse there 3x a day until I hit 1000 reputation and then fill those slots with whoever I'm not doing something else with like training. The bartender bonus and worker skills matter if you assign workers there and want it to just passively gain reputation without you providing any manual help.

I haven't tried putting tavern workers in there after maxing out their stats to see if there's any difference, but a bunch of random venemous scrubs will earn you $1700 or so per day without any goldwalkers at max rep.

They are. They used to be part of an exploit in the alpha versions where you can farm +1 Manipulate (uncapped) from them every day by convincing them to enter slavery then freeing them again. Because they are Paragons, upon freeing, their status reverts back to Paragon instead of Servant.

Here's them at $0 salary. (Still needs allowance for Ammo Pack and Milou wants $1000 allowance anyway after Aria's questline.)

No real effects for now, I think. 100 taint turns an NPC into a prowler, but I am not sure if it is possible without cheats to get to 100. Embryl necklaces have a chance lower taint by -1 daily when worn. It seems at three specific taint thresholds (24, 34, 54), they lose intelligence, beauty, kindness, charisma, academics, and science (-5). They gain strength (+5) and melee (+2). I have not tested this stat loss/gain though.

First time doing the Secret Garden quest. I'm assuming these skill checks are checking Juno's skills, not mine? Otherwise the thresholds seem unreasonably high. Do I get extra options if I train Juno up first so she passes some of them?

Yes, it's checking the skills of whoever is working at the store. Juno just speeds up the investigation if she is assigned, but her skills are checked here. You can still complete quest if you fail those checks, you just have a different branch to do.

Yeah I just finished the quest. I'm thinking maybe if the girl passes the skill checks she'll do some of the leg work I had to do for me, but that's just a guess.

When I do dinner party, everyone is glutted. Is this gonna turn them all into fatties eventually or something?
You can see a persons current weight in "Examination" and a description of their weight when you open "Inventory". What's a normal weight depends on their Body Type as well.

But yes, being habitually Glutted will cause weight increases.

Getting your girls with some level of fattiness it´s good. It increase her Max Health and make more capable combatants. It´s good to have more tissue between the exterior and your vital organs
