DOD is absolutely ancient news. Shifting focus to it when you have a popular unfinished game seems like a terrible idea.
Great game so far. Lewdlab's renders look fucking fantastic. The best I've seen with these types of games.
One little gripe though. When you complete an event at a certain location, it there's another event immediately afterwards at that same location, that event automatically triggers, despite the fact that I wanted to do another event elsewhere. This happened quite a few times and it's getting really annoying.

Hey everyone
Just wanted to post something so you can see I'm here and share what I'm working on.
Last week I started working on the trailer and that's still what I'm doing. It's an unusual task because I've never made a long a video. Putting a scene together in the game is quite different, because when you're putting up a trailer, you have to condense as much good stuff into a single minute as possible while also making it appealing and of course cool looking.
This, as many other tasks can be approached in different ways. Either just record some gameplay footage and call it a day, spend dev time elsewhere, or fully commit and try to make it as awesome as possible.
I think you can guess which approach I'm taking. It's a unique challenge and I'm trying to nail this. I've had tons of ideas that I've scrapped already, but looks like it's coming to a conclusion. I wanna be done with it this week and move on to other things on the list.
I hope I can show it to you soon.
Otherwise, not much is happening outside of work. I went to the gym 3 times last week, I'm satisfied with that. It helps a lot with my mood. Maybe I'll become Dr Chad in the future? Probably not, but it's all good
That's all from me for now. It's a short post, but it's probably best if I don't write a wall of text every time. I'll let you guys know how things are going.

If another platform like steam arises where he can again launch it for more money he will go back to DoD again, and say Fuck You to midnight paradise fans.
If you haven't realised he couldn't care less about MP fans by now, you'll never get it.
All about money, no discipline. Fuck MP fans, way to go Dev, keep shitting on your patreons who signed up for MP.
He didn't want to go public with this, literally made this post only on patreon because he knows he is greedy and MP fans would be 100% correct to call him out.

Where are those mountains of new animations then? Why isn't he releasing them periodically like he always did in the past and instead he's dead set on getting the whole thing done in one clean swoop? Why isn't he coming back to working on Midnight Paradise since he's now burned out from DoD? I thought the whole reason for sidetracking from MP was to recalibrate and take a break from the repetitivness and burnout of working on the same shit for the past two years.
I bet he takes a break and doesn’t resume MP until 2022.

It was forever ago at this point, but IIRC he said definitely no Joyce sex in the next MP update. I believe that he alluded to there being sex with one of the mains, but honestly I would not consider it to be a certainty.
100%. I doubt that we get a new update before February 2, which will be three years since the initial release. Even with DoD: DE, that's bonkers.

If he is looking to launch it on steam he is gonna be disapointed, the game will either get banned because steam will not tollerate the landlady bullshit when everyone know what it's really about, or the people who doesn't even know this website and will play the censored version, will not understand a single shit happening, because let's be honest the story without the patch make no sens it was made around the family dynamics, it will get shitty reviews and it's gonna fail.

After being dragged out this long sex with any of the mains is probably going to end up disappointing either a single scene and "game over" with them or a lackluster repeatable scene that offers little variation.
