No, he is making a trailer for his old games Steam page, because he is going to release the polished up version from his old game that he has been working and sitting on for the last almost a year now on Steam alongside his Patreon too. So he is just "having trouble" with making up his mind on what scenes he wants to include into the trailer.
Keep in mind that he said October 20th for Dreams of Desire: Definitive Edition. From there it's still going to be at least like a month before he is done with next Midnight Paradise update, if he really jumps back into it immediately like he said he would do and doesn't take some time off...again.

I need to use the computer for "Rivals" and "Teaching Desire", but the game will not let me. Is this a bug?
Also, there are some scenes in the gallery that I am not able to access, despite the fact that I have completed all of the quests on the phone. (Except the two I mentioned above) They are blurred out and it is written "New in 0.14" under them. How do I access those?

If I remember right, there are two computers. One in the basement and then one in the new apartment, so you are supposed to use the one in the new apartment. Move your cursor to the left side of the screen and it should highlight like an arrow or something. And the two blurred ones are most likely the booty call scenes that you can activate in the new apartment during the morning/afternoon.
