Awesome game. I have a few questions though.
1) How do I get the drinking scenes to trigger?(for both mom and sis)
2) When interacting with the elder sis, I can't move past the her massaging me stage, and I interact with her regularly.
3) For ruby, the only thing I can do is try to give her a massage, which fails because she says I've got big hands. I looked for a job for her but no change after that. I think I'm missing a scene where she changes for us.(uniform)

1) Try to go to the kitchen in the evenings.
2) can't remember, did you try to go to her room at different times? or watch tv with her in the afternoon

The thing is this game is not grindy, like at all. If you play correctly all the massage and yoga scenes are one-offs and their progress is triggered by main story events. Only the concentrate/make mistake part of the tutoring needs to be repeated once to get to level 3 with Ms Jane.
It's just that the triggers are so bad in this game that they won't go off if you happen to already be in the correct location at the correct time and that's exactly why people get confused and manically repeat stuff which is not needed, especially the infamous CTRL holding fap crowd.

So, if you know what to do before hand it's not grindy because it all "just happens"? Isn't that the main issue with grindy games, you have to do the same thing(s) over and over and over again until you figure out the right things to do at the right time? lmao

So, how is the testing going, folks? I see there's still the same unplayable release. How long has it been since the first time it was "just a couple of days"?

Btw, I wanted to ask for a long time, what happened with the third game he was supposed to develop? And what happened with the writer, that was supposed to script MP? I don't remember any staff other than coder being mentioned, after his statement that there would be a writer for the game. So I suggested that he continued doing it himself, considering lack of any improvement in the script.

You have a different definition of 'grindy' it seems. Actually grindy games like Big Brother for instance require several repetitions of the same task for story progression due to the fact that aspects of the game require chance to bypass and also because the MC has several skills like Massage or Persuasion that he has to master before he is allowed to reach new story elements.

Midnight Paradise can seem grindy for some people because it does an awful job at telling the player what to do and that leads to them repeating available scenes over and over again even though none of them are required for progression unlike in Big Brother.
Midnight Paradise at this point is just a linear VN in a stupid open-world shell with the false impression of freedom and scope which unfortunately leads to aforementioned player confusion i.e. thinking it's grindy.

- do everything in the walkthrough in the OP
- the next day go to Thorne's office and you'll get a car
- return to Thorne's office again and you'll get the scene with the informant
- the next morning go from another room to your room and you'll trigger a scene with mom and your new car
- you can now access massage and yoga level 3 with mom
- in the morning go to Isabel's room to trigger a scene with her crying
- you can now access massage level 3 with her
- repeat the tutoring classes until MC looses his pen and Ms Jane gets under the table to pick it up
- you now have access to level 3 interactions with her (drop pen again or ask for incentive)

Congratulations you have seen everything in this new update.

If it doesn't trigger than it won't trigger. Bugged. Start anew. Yeah, can add in the yoga scene manually but then you miss the car drive. I personnaly consider the car drive more interesting then the actual outcome, the yoga lvl 3 scene.

Yes. Order them at Night. I mean you can't if you tried because then you are pathblocked. Use older save before you had them ordered. But when you order the first time, do it ONLY at night.

My issue is that it said I unlocked a new massage level with Joyce after the drinking night but it seems to have gone backwards- she says she has errands to run everytime i touch her thigh

I agree...u keep roaming thru da rooms like idiot without any direction. Repeated scenes over and over is already bullshit old system for playing. Either u change in window prewiews of rooms that characters are inside or just throw this bullshit game in trash can. U need to understand...nobody wants to spend time searching around rooms billion times. It has nothing to do with keeping tension - instead u cooling off and losing curiosity. Its a bullshit system. Better change that. Otherwise game have top 5 rendering AA++ and stpry and plot are B+ good.

While i completely agree that calling the mc Carlos Spicywiener would be absolutely fantabulous but i'm not sure how much that woud add or enhance the story in any shape or form. Its a cosmetic thing.

So you name the character after yourself. Adds to the immersion and it's almost certainly *very* easy to implement.
