That's actually worse. He's drugging the only one who can protect her, so he probably doesn't care if she wakes up. Which is very likely since she's just sleeping. And if she does, what is he going to do? Force himself on her?

I have been watching this thread since game came out and there are too much negativity. It feels like some people really want to bash the developer in ground -I am not talking about normal criticism. This is the second game developer is working on and dev tried new things but it didn't work. Yes, game started in pretty rough shape and things are getting better now, will be better I hope.
I really don't understand this "rape" stuff which keeps pop up. Same mechanic was in DoD with worse way; mind control and molest and people like that but somehow it is not okay now when MC is actually someone who can molest every hot chick in this game.
I am pretty much enjoying this game and curious about future story and character developments.
p.s: I know this is like a rant but I want to share my thoughts too.

Damn i feel like people are saying they are stuck and shit but there is not enough content yet so be patient. And about the pills rape stuff, its normal bruh its a game what do you expect its a fantasy.

It being a fantasy doesn't prevent those fetishes to be appalling to some people. Even vile and highly narcissistic fetishes like pregnancy in incest games have their fan base, but we're not here to judge, so everybody with a negative or positive opinion towards a specific fetish should at least be tolerated, nobody asks you to respect it.
Heck I've played every GTA since the first one and my body count of innocent civilians is immeasurable at this point, but I still enjoy those games and I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't approve of that.

Dev may be the king of incest molestation and making close to half a million dollars a year, but needs to have some humility. From the looks of it he's still not asking for feedback from this patrons, no polls or anything. And if he didn't throw out obvious lies about features and release dates, the responses here would be different. The whole no charging last month thing was because he knew there would be no release.
As for the jailable sexual assault rampant in his games, it felt better in DoD because it was a supernatural fantasy game from the start. There's no such excuse here.

Yeah, i understand that this whole sleepcreeping is an issue for some but that not the case with everyone. I simply don't care. I consider it gameplay element. I mean i don't take it as seriously, just like that GTA example. I don't consider myself a murderer because i butchered people in game, and i don't consider myself a molester just because i chose the sleepcreep options.
But we all have our pet peeves, no exception. The only real question is if this sleepcreeping can remain optional or not. If yes, there is no point grumping about it. Just avoid the opion. I definitely can live without ordering sleeping pills

Like GTA as long as there's some sense of repercussion such as the wanted level, it would be fine. As cold_arctus mentioned earlier, there's also the risk of the game being banned for including the sleep rape stuff. Dev may want to do a poll before committing half of his game or more to extremely questionable content.Its porngaming tradition really. For better or worse
