If you got a white empty window, then close the game , then restart it and start to press Shift. A white config page should open up after some loading. There select Angle2 renderer.

After this close the game and restart normally.
You only need to do this once.

My game doesn't even make it to main menu. It's just a white screen after the initial loading bar and just goes immediately to not responding. Sorry I didn't explain it well in my last post

Yep, this is what I talk about. When you hit enter or double click on the exe, instantly press Shift and keep it pressed down.

Yes, 0.26 is just new sandbox events. There is one new/updated for Isabel and one new/updated for Ruby, but otherwise it's all Joyce.

did you copy old saves from 0.25 folder to 0.26? there could be "new" saves at .26 folder.

Your previous Saves are always stored in the same place..
here's how to look for them:

Go to your File Explorer and make sure you can "View" your "Hidden Items".
Then go to:
C:\Users\YourNameHere\AppData\Roaming\RenPy
then find the game, in this case, MidnightParadise...
inside you'll find all the "save files".

next, copy and paste your Saves as needed
and remember to uncheck the "Hidden Items"..

Shouldn't even need to do any of that. The game should just pick the old saves up from the appdata folder in the first instance, so you shouldn't have to manually copy/paste into the 0.26 game folder.

When you first install a new update, I mean. If there are no saves in the game/saves folder because it's a new install, the game will load from the appdata folder, presuming the saves from the previous update are there.

still wrong place to ask and might be wrong site too, try your luck at cracking (at bottom of mainpage), if no luck there then need to find a site which has cracked softwares.
