I didn't like the beta when it was first released months ago. I decided the wait for some meaty updates until summer at least. Finally I finished the current content and I can happily say that there is a new king(for me) in the throne.
First of all, this game has the best production value in here as far as I see. Everything look amazing!
Not gonna lie, at first I thought the same things when I played beta but with the story, realitionships, dialogues going forward I become more and more invested. Now I am really curious about nearly every part of the game!
Like I said in the beginning: For me, there is a new number one and I hope it will just become better and better.
My favourite ones are mom and Ms. Jane. Ruby is really annoying but I think that will benefit a lot of great scenes if I had to make a guess from the last scene of her storyline.

The mc likes to put his foot in his mouth a lot and gets into trouble a lot.
There is no multiple paths to avoid not getting into trouble
Its just a point and click mess.
The artwork animation and story are worth all that trouble.
I just hope he stops messing up so much and this leads to a happy ending.

I don`t quite agree, what you say about the objectives !!! In my mind, they tells you what to do quite clearly and atleast they tells you, if you are done all the updates quests !!!!!

The writing, the story plan, the character profiles, character development and plot also not had nearly the same effort put in as DoD. He puts in H content he guesses will make money with no logic within story or the characters personalities which makes the MC not just a total dick but an inconsistent hypocritical dick. I still love his rendering but I quit Patreon because he simply not putting the work in and relying on the generated rendering.

I think I like Eliana more in this game, hope she is also a romanceable option, don't get me wrong both sis and mom are beautiful too but due to lewdlab previous game was heavily focused on incest content and this one looks like the same too.. I think other characters are not getting the desired affection and time, So keeping other options in mind if he can make more story towards them too then this game will definitely be one of the best.

i just try your save game v0.5 but the extra scene doesn't have any scene and the replay scene missing one
how could i get the extra scene and the messing one?

Have you read the README file in the .7z archive?
My savefile doesn't work if you haven't deleted both your own persistent files.

Alright, this game has improved a lot, since the Unity start, but it's still far off from the good old DoD.
For a sandbox game it's alright, but I wonder how I would feel, if I didn't have a walkthrough to spare me endless, needless grinding.
This simply is another case where so far at least, the same story could have been told with far less effort as a straight VN, but no, devs have to force sandbox on everybody.
I mean, yeah I get it. The updates to those games are usually way smaller so someone like Lewdlab who is really raking in the cash is basically getting a shitload of money for very little work.
I mean, he has a fucking team working for him, earning ten thousands of dollars a month and he offers what 5-6 scenes per update which amount to maybe 10 minutes of playtime, if the grind is removed?
That being said, as usual I love the ladies here. They are all great, with the teacher and the "landlady" leading the pack by far for me at least.
Still, I really expected better from Lewdlab, not because the quality of the game is bad (not any longer, thankfully), but because he earns a lot of money through this and what he does for it seems nowhere near worth those amounts.

I don't think, that you would rather have a 500 (or more) page rant about how Lewdlab is a scammer like in MC thread instead of a place where you can find Patreon updates easily.
Also, it's obvious, that a lot of people who supported DoD stayed as patrons. It's because they sponsor a creator, not a game. I agree, that with the money he got, he could maybe do better (meaning longer updates), but I don't know how much time do his renders and animations take. The quality can be compared to Philly's CoBD more than to Icstor, because the characters and the renders overall are more detailed than in MC. Philly makes longer updates, though, and more satisfying ones, and that's why he gets zero hate. I also don't think that MP is overrated. Look at the thread. Not that many people here care about it.
So, as I said, patrons sponsor the creator, because they liked DoD, and a lot of them would sponsor him no matter what he did.
P.S. I am not defending him, I am just trying to figure out why I think he gets so much cash even though he gives back much less than before.

I agree with you about the VN part. Look at Philly. Not to derail the thread, but he has the same quality renders in CoBD, but thanks to it being straight up VN, he gets way more done, and we get way more content in every update. I don't know why does Lewdlab still make such short updates, since he got everything back on track allegedly. Do they have still problems with coding or whatever? It just doesn't make much sense. Maybe it's also the effort put in the bonus/Elite content, that could have been put in an actual story scene? Or he got lazy?
eh, way I see it lewds doin fine, the format switch is big, and shouldnt be down played, lewds past body of work is enough for me to have faith going forward. As it stands the switch went pretty well, the amount of content per release doesnt concern me, the content size In DoD wasnt much different. The quality not quantity of his work is what intrests me, if you feel differently, I respect your view point, but we'll agree to disagree. Playing the long game here
I think the renders in this game are perhaps the best in any game....my main problem is the sound track in DoD was really good the moody music was really sexy and helped set the stage...the title screen music is actually awesome in midnight paradise , but other then that its so lackluster....I would rather he just took the same mysterious music from DoD and put it in MP...

Okay so I completely forgot to post this back when the patch was updated again, so for anyone still interested here's the latest version of the incest patch combined with heero000's original code from the name change patch.
As before you need to make sure you delete the numbers from the start of the file so it's just named zz_kill.rpy.
Then simply open in notepad or any text editor and replace the 2 instances of YOURNAME to whatever name for MC you want, save and put file in /game folder.
All credit for name change patch goes to heero000 which was first posted here.
