Guy gets kicked out of college in another city, and goes back to move in with his family. His family consists of his father, his mother, his older sister, his twin brother, and his younger sister. All the family females are hot as fuck! [Actually, that's all I needed to know to play]. The father is a controlling type, and wants one of his sons to take over the family business. The twin brother has been living at home, toadying up to dad. The MC has to go to the local college and become responsible to catch up to the twin, and have a chance at the business. He spends the day interacting with his family members, and the next day he goes off to college, where he meets a (young lady) teacher who has been told to help him.
That's pretty much it. No supernatural stuff yet. It doesn't look like there will be, but who knows. It's early.
The only similarity to DOD is that there is a mother and two sisters. But adds the father and twin brother (who is a dorky jerk), and no aunt to be seen. And there's some sleep molesting. But, in my opinion, the ladies are even better looking than those in DOD. [INCOMING!]
Oh, if you object to incest, there's a non-incest version. You can pursue your landlady and her daughters, I guess. [Haven't checked to see if that's what they are in that version.]

Please let me elaborate berofe you get madsince I'm only trying to be friendly and share some experience due to my ..old age. This forum is not just a simple forum but more of a community. The diffference is that this forum is the advertising on games, we-you are the ones that get patreons for adult game developers - I wish I had such a community when I opened my company back in the days in BI area. The community is extremely strong and our opinion matters. Lewdlab is a great game developer, top 3 in my opinion, but the dissapointment stands. And also keep in mind that this is a company now, quote "coding team etc" so we expect more. We expect, not looking for a new game only but have hands on monitoring on the new game development For sure we will support this great game designer for the next -6 months, but the demo-beta version... after 6 months is a mess. It's like 200% less than what we expected. If the coding team has the problem, I can help or my team can help - free of charge - since Unity can be a mess, or he can hire a new one - if it's one - but this was the worst demo ever forever. In the company area as you know effort is not important. The deliverable is,
All the above is a frendly comment to the developer mostly - and to his supporters which include myself. Wish only the best for the new version's, and let's hope the team can deliver based on the previous game standards. These standards led to a strong support from this great community which also led to a huge increase on patreons (by the way - including my team and I can prove this)

Being a bad boy is not a bad thing, usually these types of games only let you play a ugly cuck weak nerd type of character. having this new one is refreshing.
This MC is not so much bad boy as he is a pretentious fuck wit, I have to be at least able to empathise with the dude

To be total honest with you, by your first two posts early on the thread, I thought you were a dumb kiddo, who has no idea about coding nor game development, but your latest post (short quote) convinced my otherwise! So, let me thank you, for explaining your stand from your previous two post!

Not sure if this goal was only for DoD or also stands for MP, but looking at the Demo of MP - either the coder doesn't know how to code or it was done by a single person! After reading Aesouh's post, and now knowing which engine and unity assets Lewdlab used, it was clearly done by a single person (this is my assumption and not a fact!).
I know how time consuming creating content can be, from what artists and devs like Motkeyz, Phillygames Faerin and others are telling/saying/reporting....
Now I'm not sure about his other goals anymore, like if he really quit is regular job or not?! Because his goals are not clear about it:

He has 9 goals set on Patreon. Goal #2 is about quitting his regular job, but in #4 he says "I don't have much time on my hands with my regular job, but I'll dedicate more time to the project". Either the Goals are not in a correct order or he did not quit his regular job as promised in #2.
By assuming he did not quit his regular job, it would explain, why it took him so much time to release this demo after he delayed it from December 2018.
I really like his renders, but can't say much about the game itself, because I'm a native Linux user. And since the demo is a 64bit only, I can't use my workaround for animations in Wine anymore. So, I can't say anything about the quality of his animations.
My post should not be considered as a rant neither against lewdlab (or anyone else in the thread) nor about Unity.

@cold_arctus, yes the game (and the workaround you provided) doesn't work on Linux. An overkill solution could be to install Windows 7 with VirtualBox, but I think Unity can build natively for Linux (if the developer takes the time to do that). Still I don't understand this Unity technological choice, I mean Ren'Py is the perfect tookit for a fast developing a game like Midnight Paradise.
