Lewdlab has promised to write one for future releases. I just did the best I could. But it shouldn't be difficult to restart if I screwed up, especially since he has also promised to provide a skip function.

Guys, you know that unity gives us the better animations, right ? I would prefer Renpy too, but who knows
please please please make a mac version it will take me ages until i will have a laptop that runs with windows!

Well, Unity built in player in Linux can play only ogv, webm, and vp8... Kinda ridiculous as mp4 is payed on Linux via gstreamer, vlc, and mplayer...I haven't tried the game yet. I will, of course, but it might take a while
I'm kind of surprised that Linux Unity doesn't support mp4; it's a cross-platform and freely licensed for < 100k subscribers.
Anyway, I guess @Lewdlab wasn't aware of this. It should be easy to convert videos for Linux package to one of this three formats.

Well, yes and no. Restricted extras is just meta-package on Ubuntu and it's derivatives, like Mint. You don't have it on other distros. Besides vlc or mplayer are not part of restricted extras, and they can play almost everything. Restricted extras installs various gstreamer wrappers.Don't you need restricted-extras for that?
I am not 100% sure if webm and vp8 play on Linux out of box, but ogv for sure does, so I would recommend that video format for Linux builds.
PS, I think I now understand why Linux version of Unity native player supports only ogv, vebm and vp8. Those three formats are open source, which avoids any license issues on Linux based systems.
