well renders are out of this world, animations as well but i feel so fucking disappointed. Unity as a engine sucks we all know this, i wonder if he will come back to renpy, we all saw it happening before. Cant even say much more than that because i got stuck before i could talk to MC dad. I hope writing at least is good? I recommend to wait for 2,3 updates but then again its nothing new, i just expected so much more from Lewdlab

Most Windows versions are 64bit these days so it's not common for VN's to have a 32 bit version. Considering this is a beta, best to wait and see if there's a 32 bit in later versions.

This is true, but these kinds of games do not need 64bit. Considering the possibilities of Unity to port the game to Mac would a x86 version be better as a x64.

But as you said, it is a BETA release and we might get more build-versions on the final release.

BTW, to you know witch unity engine MP use? I suspect Fungus... but I'm not sure about it.

Unity more versatile than Ren'Py, but requires a lot more initial and ongoing development. Depending on the concept and plans for the future, it can be a better choice in the long run. Also HTML5 exporting is nice.

People complaining about the 4 month development time - It's a new engine, new models, new characters, new script, all of that takes time.

is its because of your potato computer and Windoof as OS . Tested the game via Wine (I'm native Linux) and had no problem with choices at all.

well thats kinda the ass comment, and just to tell you nope i have a good computer since i can run battlefield 5 in full high so before talking like that just ask next time
only that i agree about your comment is that Windows 7 64bits is shit, but it runs well all the games so i have no complains, actually i have played many unity games before this one and is only this one that im getting this problem. Peace

Unity's sort of a mixed bag for everyone. You'll get a strange error that no one else has. If you don't mind me asking, what's the GPU in your rig? Sometimes there's strange conflict issues with NVidia cards and Unity (As I've experienced myself).

Crossover is basically Wine, since they provide the major part of the code for Wine. However, you two should wait a little bit until the final version will be released. The Beta version has some problems with Wine, e. g. no animation (video). My previous workaround for that, doesn't work anymore, since the Game is a x64 bit only version . But I will look into a new workaround!

Game problems so far for Mac and Linux users:

- No animations (videos)
- Esc-Button not working
- no mouse cursor /pointer in the game

I don't get why so many people hate Unity so much. This is really good engine for what it is and you can make games in it for free. There are a lot of great games made in Unity not only porn games. Look at Something Unlimited. Game is amazing and it is made in Unity. So chill out people. I am sure Lewdlab knows what it is doing and we will get an amazing game.

I guess your computer is much better as my low-end laptop

But ofc, Unity is tricky to please all windows user at once, since it is so easy to corrupt/break Windows OS without knowing about it.

Let's wait and see, if the final version will fix your problem.

There's much more of hate now than before because of how unpredictable it is on everyone's rig. You could be running RTX 2080's with 32+gb RAM, a fully clean PC and an abundance of HD space and still run into conflict issues with Unity and drivers even if you have the latest version. That and no fast clicking makes Ren'Py the easy winner in most people's eyes.

To me, if it doesn't crash on my machine and it's well made, I prefer Unity CG's easily over Ren'Py but due to the unpredictability, I have to give it to Ren'Py.

Have a look at my comment above and Ren'Py's also a free software so cost isn't an issue when comparing against Unity.

You will still see no animation, because neither Crossover nor Wine support native Windows Media Foundation - which is needed to see animations (videos)

No problem. So did I went I questioned someone on that too! Yep I put that in my post above. For many users, Unity's too unpredictable so I get you. I've played too many games made with Unity to recall that blue screened my system lol.

Same issue here, the MC dialogue box minimizes down and can't get it to show again to progress with the first conversation between the MC and is Dad.

Really like the premise the animations are great also very likeable characters. Seem to be crossover from freeroam and linear story telling. i hope we get more freeroam play in later version when stuff gets opened up.
