I got barred from responding on the MILFCITY thread for saying this exact thing.
I honestly don't understand why people continue to support devs that abandon their work.
Let's give examples. The devs of Afterglow continue to run into problems with development and irl issues. Let's everyone know on their discord channel AND pauses patreon payments. That's an example of a dev team being transparent with fans and respecting their support.
Other examples of devs that continue to produce quality content with regular updates are Llamamann, NLT, What Why Games and Celestial Novels. These guys are making games with great renders, good plots and regular updates, while being transparent. Worthy of financial support. If any one of them abandoned their projects ( doubtful) I would rightly abandon their patreon.
This is like watching dudes throw money at OF models for low tier content. I just don't understand it.
We should develop some kind of project commitment ratings system for devs.
Like after six months a dev gets a 2 out of 5 if no one has heard from them and there are no updates. A zero is applied to three years worth of teasers and broken release dates. ::: cough cough ICSTOR :::
and a 5 for devs that still engage fans and put out regular updates. They are the real MVPs.

Just like i predicted gotta post something on patreon so this thread doesn't get the abandoned tag probably just gonna be another bullshit post with no release date honestly this should really have already have gotten the abandoned tag long ago he hasn't posted an update since last year and this scammer and milker of a dev is just abusing this site rules so this thread doesn't get abandoned.

You would think the mods would be like "yeah... we're not falling for that crap. ABANDONED hammer!" The only thing they're gonna post is something along the lines of "We're getting real close, I should be able to give news on a release date sometime soon. Just hang with me for a few more months and you'll agree it'll be worth the wait. We've already finished over 1k renders, 5mil words of dialog and 10 animations! As always thanks for your support and patience!"

Yeah you would think the mods would do something when creators are just abusing this site system like this but nope they do nothing because it's the rules of the site and the scammer of a dev knows it threads only get abandoned tag if the creator's doesn't post anything in 3 months or if there's no updates in 18 months so this scammer has it all figured out it was about to reach 3 months soon so he gotta post something probably another bullshit post because he knows it's only month 13 out of 18 so i figure we aren't getting an update until it reaches 16 or 17 months without updates where then he is forced to update and remember this isn't really a main update you gonna have to restart and mainly just gonna add stuff to the beginning more massage scenes and useless phone content.

The good news is that he is making a new game called "Afternoon hell" starring the guy that the Mc dropped from the rooftop.
honestly, i don't mind supporting devs. really, i don't. however, i am extremely glad that i do't support this one with my money^^

A lot of people support dev after trying the game from this site,why do you think many devs upload their games here by themselves?
