Honestly, you guys are putting way too much emotional energy into slapping an abandoned tag onto the game. There isn't going to be some kind of dramatic blowup or dropoff of subscribers once it happens. If it happens today or tomorrow or next week or not at all isn't going to make a shit's worth of difference. Just let it go. The game will either be updated or die off naturally. You're working yourself into group apoplexy for nothing. You're not supporting the guy. Probably most of the people on this forum aren't either. There’s no impact on patreon’ earnings from the abandoned tag here. Have a look at icstore for instance. His gains have been increased sufficiently despite abandoning.

If it makes no difference then why not? At least in principle and according to the rules, if it meets the requirements then it should be tagged. Once tagged no one will comment about it needing to be tagged anymore.
