Well...

I learned to read on Batman and Superman comics back in the 60's. The name Martha has always meant Mother to me.

So, I can't relate with your perplexion in any way shape or form. It also has been a VERY recurrent Meme, everywhere since the Movie Batman V. Superman came out, I have no clue why, because as a rabid fan of both characters I refuse terminally to see such a thing. Again, it has been repeated ad nauseam everywhere.

So, to claim ignorance of one of the most transversal pop culture meme, yet recognizing the characters, is simply baffling to me. I really can't believe that there is an adult aware of both super heroes existence that doesn't know that both their Mothers were named Martha.

I'm sorry if this sounds dismissive, that isn't my intention, but I do find your post rather outside of my believability charts.

Peace :(
ahhh, i see.....
I grew up outside of the US where Batman and Superman comics were unavailable and haven't seen the Batman V. Superman movie. thank you for your explanation.

Well, I never set foot in the American Continent either. I was born in Africa and now live in Europe. Where you were born isn't the reason then.

The Meme is all over the Internet. So, no. There's still nothing that makes me think that you really never knew, especially since you are able to recognize Batman and Superman. Why you are doing it, I don't know. Whatever... play it however you want. But I ain't buying it.

Peace :(

Same scenario happens at some airports in the U.S. I mean seriously - who moves near an airport and then complains when it gets too loud? Like they're gonna move the airport for a hundred people who knew ahead of time??

It just confirms my belief that the movie Idiocracy is coming true, one day at a time.
It the stupidty of the goverment just building shit where ever they like. My work uses super heavy industrial hammers and the dumbasses built condos nearby. They complain all the time about the noise, meanwhile my company had been here for over 30 years.

Edit: My company is over 110 years old as well.
