The bandits at the start got the drop on MC, taking advantage of his naivety. He only got out of it going berserk over Eliza.
The assassin at the lake was back and forth until the MC prevailed.
The skeletons in the cave overwhelmed him with numbers and it took Kira and the healing crystals to get him back in shape. (the crystals more than Kira)
After this, there's harem shenanigans so no fights for a long time. You see others show off while MC is in prison.
The Diana fight is a combination of a lot of factors but I ultimately agree that she was a good test for him. Someone stronger than Eliza needs to train him after all.
He hasn't really had a fight on the island yet. The priestess catching him by surprise is just plot writing and not really a fight. (doesn't he have enhanced senses?)
I'm not sure. I don't think it's been mentioned one way or the other in the first two updates this Chapter, though I haven't played the current one yet (not yet out for my tier level).Since I haven't played in awhile I was wondering did the MC even bring that device to talk to Eliza from far away.
No, he left in a hurry, and the detour wasn't planned.Since I haven't played in awhile I was wondering did the MC even bring that device to talk to Eliza from far away.
I don't think so. Most likely it was back at the hotel, and he had to leave suddenly from their picnic date, so didn't have the time to go and pack anything for the trip.Since I haven't played in awhile I was wondering did the MC even bring that device to talk to Eliza from far away.
How would it not count? Moving the goalposts much? He could have died, same as any other encounter.I feel like the skeletons don't really count. Like you said he was just getting overwhelmed with numbers it's not like the skeletons alone were an actual problem. Diana has really been the only character that he couldn't really do much against
Mostly because that was more about attrition than actual strength. The skeletons themselves were pretty weak. I wasn't even considering it and was mostly thinking about fights against characters like the Assassin or Blackheart. He wasn't struggling against the skeletons at all until they kept respawning, he was getting his ass beat by Diana and even admits that she's stronger than him.How would it not count? The respawning skeletons did more damage than Diana. Sounds like the MC should stop underestimating his opponents. Discussion is about how strong the mc is compared to everyone else. He's stronger than the skeletons, there was nothing they could do against him other than. I personally don't even consider to be a "fight" since it's just the mc going against multiple waves of nameless, faceless, enemies. I mean the discussion before was about how the mc needed to get stronger so he doesn't struggle in a fight and he unless he unlocks and infinite stamina at some point he's still going to get tired when fighting to many people no matter how strong he gets. Just like how earlier I said that Taron is a threat mostly because of his influence and the fact he goes after others and isn't directly stronger than the mc. The skeletons arent directly stronger than the mc either. The respawning skeletons did more damage than Diana. Sounds like the MC should stop underestimating his opponents. In short, Diana made MC her bitch on multiple occasions. If MC didn't have his regeneration ability he would have died.Discussion is about how strong the mc is compared to everyone else. As for Diana, not really. She stabbed him in the vitals and he got knocked down, managed to get back up later because of the cyrstals and he should have died, twice. He lost 2 out of 3 rounds and only managed to tie on the final round.
tbh I always thought the MC was a bit of a weak fighter he relies on his powers to much.In short, Diana made MC her bitch on multiple occasions. If MC didn't have his regeneration ability he would have died.
So a literal powerful being got his ass kicked by an above avg human being but a human being none the less and for what? So that he could be in a bed with her half naked?
She's not really just an above average human, she's a descendant of the ancients, didn't the dev say that ancients are on par with the minor gods? I don't really see why mc losing is all that shocking other than the fact he hasn't lost until now. Yeah mc's dad is more powerful than Diana's ancestor, but it's not like either of them are normal people. Diana's just had more training with her powers. In short, Diana made MC her bitch on multiple occasions. If MC didn't have his regeneration ability he would have died.

Plus the whole point of most of the game thus far has been that the MC is not up to his full potential of power yet. Otherwise, he wouldn't be collecting all these different powers on his adventures. He needs more training to strengthen his powers, especially since it's not an endless well of power and he has to recharge depending on what he's done that day. Training with Diana will probably be more beneficial than when he trained with Rin as a child since he's not as familiar with water/ice magic.tbh I always thought the MC was a bit of a weak fighter he relies on his powers to much.
Naah, I didn't like how many close calls were there. Diana should not be anywhere close to MC even if he is at, let's say, 10% of his potential. If diana is a descendant of the ancients then MC is a literal nephilim and his family is full of gods. She's not really just an above average human though descendant of the ancients, didn't the dev say that ancients are on par with the minor gods? Which is weird since he apparently trained for 10 years without any powers and at least once fought goblins that way.tbh I always thought the MC was a bit of a weak fighter he relies on his powers to much.
Why not? Either way they are both descendants from gods pretty much and Diana has had way more practice, and I think she's older than him too. Even assuming they're the same age she's been training since she was 5, he's been training since he was 10 and is less skilled with magic(he literally says he never really bothered much with wind magic before his pirate adventure). So 15 years of experience specializing in magic, while mc spent 10 years basically becoming a jack of all tradesNaah, I didn't like how many close calls were there. Diana should not be anywhere close to MC even if he is a
Personally, she just doesn't give me a reason to hate her. I think if she was a dude I'd probably just think of her the same way I think of the male characters in the guild. Just allies for the mc. I don't kill characters unless I think they deserve it. She might have been an antagonist for that moment, but she was never really evil unlike the other characters we've had to fight so far. Like Brenna actually is a woman and I want the mc to kill her.I also think people are defending her because she's a good looking girl. If diana was a guy everyone would have wanted MC to kill him.
