You're complaining about the discourse in the thread, which is a piracy thread on a piracy site, so no, what the pledgers think doesnt matter. Pledgers have both discord and patreon to converse on, and anyone here that's tired of the "whining" should really reconsider why they're here in the first place.

Yes, which is exactly why I suggested he does so. He said this is the end of the NTR stuff for this game right? All the NTR scenes aren't "canon" so they could happen whenever, which means he could easily save a few of them for the epilogues.

What? i'm not complaining about the piracy. Who gives a fuck about that? i said i'm a pirate too. I'm counter complaining about the people who are complaining about WWG lying / delaying. i'm just breaking it down by who the complainers are. i'm giving the complainers a label, not that them pirating is the problem itself.

I never said you were complaining about piracy, just pirates. You're upset pirates have opinions and are sharing them on a pirate forum. Doesn't that sound insane to you?

Granted, I agree that it's dumb when pirates tell supporters to drop support, that's up to the supporter.

It does sound insane, because i never said that. I'm conflicting with their opinions sure, but i never said they weren't allowed to have any. everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Of valid criticism, sure.
There's plenty of that already on various aspects of the game, even down to subjective things like the game's humour.

Nobody is absolving WWG of criticism for anything. Believing that anyone is doing that, is actual delusion.

Go and find every instance of the past week of anyone who has told other people in this thread that they're not allowed to be upset and show them to us all...

Not a single person in this thread is not upset or disappointed at the very least by the delay.
The difference is that not everyone is behaving like a tantrum-throwing child about it.

Storm had multiple but were removed by the mod for personal attacks, on page 1584 you can see him continuing to argue with the moderator trying to get him to ban the topic.

The same recycled arguments concerning development time/missed dates, the trolling/flame bait posts throwing not-so-thinly veiled insults at anyone who's not bitching about WWG from the same people. The kind of things that are deemed off-topic and get deleted en-masse. - direct quote from you yourself defending Storm about getting the topic deleted/banned.

Again, you’re the ones bitching and trying to stop everyone from talking about it. Not one person who’s upset and not on WWGs side has told you guys to shut up or stop talking. We disagree but you have the right to your opinion, so does everyone else. Imagine calling someone else a child when you’re trying to ban topics you don’t like.

Yeah, and he said he doesn't want to give a hard date, because he'd give his pinky finger for an extra date. So, all timeframes are an estimate. That means the updates are released around that period, not exactly that period (which is given long in advance). This isn't his nine-to-five. This isn't his only job, not his sole focus. This is done in his spare time and guess what, shit happens. Sometimes stuff happens that means you have less spare time.

It's not purposefully misleading. Like I said, shit happens. If I'm supposed to be at work at nine, but I get into an accident on the way, did I mislead my boss by saying I'd be on time before I left? At best, it's bad luck he had to announce this, because it was never his intention.

True. But there's a difference between valid criticism and outright lies to fit your narrative. If I want to win an argument, I make sure my points are valid and proven, not vague and subjected to (wrong) interpretation.

Does it suck? Yes, it does. Should he have made it clearer that there were outside factors influencing his time to work on the game? Yes. Did he fuck up by not disclosing this? Yes. Did he lie? Oh, that's just delusional.

He has delayed and held it to himself until the last minute many times. A quarter of his total updates over 5 years have missed his timeline, that includes multiple updates that had no dates. Your defense of that is to take this entire scenario and pretend similarities don’t matter so it’s a unique one time thing. You guys talk about putting words in peoples mouth, I never said “this exact 100% same thing happened many times.” I said “this” as in delays and last minute communication.

This is 100% his 9-5 job, that’s just completely wrong or a lie from you.

You guys keep going back to the “shit happens” argument like something popped up last minute. By his own words, this issue slowed things down starting in December, which contradicts every update he’s given since December. That is definitely being misleading, his development has been slowed the last 4 months according to him but he painted a different picture all the way up until March 1st.
