This sounds like a label / return flow issue.
The described behaviour is unknown and that part of the code has not changed for ages.

Usually happens when you use incompatible code fragments from mods. Are you using any mods?
The game is not compatible with any mods I know of. Definitely not with URM.

If you
- started a new game
- use no mods
You can post your save game an I can have a look. Maybe some edge case I overlooked.

BTW: Sending TRis to class is done in the morning with the Job menu.

I started a new game. But there might be reminats of an old mod from I was useing in version 2.00.010c this one https://thef95zone.info/threads/space-jo...x2-00-010d-version-2-0d.180608/#post-12130224
As I installed the new version over the old one to not lose older saves, but thought I cleared the mod though. Will try a new clean install.
And yes I knew to send her I need to be docked at night before and send T´ris to class through job menu.

Nimhe will tell you the location. Work on her demands and it will be revealed in conversation. Assuming you've even hired Nimhe yet.

Go to Ancient Precursor site. You will get turned away and told to get something from black market.
Talk to bartender. She will say a black market seller shows up at night in bar.
Talk to black market merchant and try to get the component.


Somewhere along the way to completing the above, bartender should mention you need a skilled tech (or Nimhe will demand it as condition of employment) to operate the component. She will put in a good word with Nimhe, allowing you to hire her, if you meet her price.

*timeline of above is not 100%. But chew thru the above tasks and it will all come together. You need a Tech person (Nimhe) to operate the component from black market, to get into the precursor graveyard. It will then lead you to having her as crew and the missions saying you need shields and weapons, Nimhe then can reveal pirate base location.

this was my issue. i had no idea i needed to upgrade the engines that much in the very beginning of the game. it was weird i was trying to get sex from triss, i had all the lower decks unlocked, i had run a bunch of missions including some from the bartender and didn't know i needed to fly to the precursor area to continue the game. thanks.

You're welcome buddy. Also, it may be of help. There is an in-game quest tracker/hint system. The Mission Tracker can be accessed with the cellphone icon (bottom left). The first tab lists active story missions and has a hint button. It can be a useful resource to get you back on track if you ever forget what you're in the middle of or lose track.

OK, this part is pretty obscure. To get to the pirate base, you need to build an illegal bot (IQ > 140). The ship bot will come by and warn you that you normally can't sell/rent such bots, but Nimhe may know some people...

Correct. Since it is a Pirate Base, it deals in illegal cargo. This includes Slaves, Drugs, Weapons, Illegal BioChems and Illegal Bots. So for you to be permitted to land safely, you have to craft a bot and make it Illegal. Either by initial stat roll, or thru add-on modifications you install afterwards. Note: 140+ IQ is half the requirement. It also needs to exceed 100k in value. But this is easily achieved by slapping on some crummy mods, like a handful of Subpar whatevers.

Afterwards game will progress. Talk to Nimhe, she confiscates the bot (you lose it). Since it is given away to pay off her outstanding debt and get you landing clearance. Then you can make bots you can keep and put to work. These newer bots are the ones limited to under 140 IQ. Except, Pirate Base will still accept Illegal bots, so you can still make very high value illegal bots and sell them at Pirate Base. Or in Krell Alien Space. They are a bunch of slaver frogs in next star system you go to. So Illegal bots are legal in their space too.

I had a hard time creating bots that were legal in the early stages of the game for some arcade income because I foolishly scrapped the cheaper parts. So I stopped creating them until I was in the next system.

A good tip is also to look at the escape risk and if that's low try to get it to 0.0 with an immobilizer. Only put bots with 0.0 escape in the arcade for rent, sell all others. You'll slowly create a steady income. (It's not steady if they have an even slight chance to escape!) For the long run it's worth to put a second immobilizer in the bot even if it has slightly lower stats.
I have a 2 000 000 daily income from arcade bots on my latest save.

Might b a bug as I had to give him a flexible schdeule to allow for shuttling of Krog between Outpost and Iltari once a week.

You need to do more quest in the storyline, untill she asks a favor , to get infiltrator shell, and use it to get a package (open the package before telling nimhe about ot or you permenantly lock out of a scene) and after she gets that package she will start giving favors.

I think you need to make some bots first, and may or may not need to pay off her debt to the pirate base.

I have made a new bot for the private base, gave her a AI core... Not sure about this infiltrator shell. She is making Jtype bots..

Just chat with her and the trick is unlocked

Also, you can scan the damage in the cargo bay with a hyper scanner...

I did scan it is that just background information or should it trigger a quest?
Still cant get her to preform that trick....
