Hello, everyone!
We've had the first snowfall of the year today! Winter is almost here. Meanwhile, work on Summer Heat continues. Plenty of posing, some outfit testing for a future scene, working on some custom textures and painting normal maps.
We strive to have a natural progression when it comes to clothing and outfits, little changes here and there depending on the situation and time. And we've built quite a wardrobe by now so it is getting easier and easier to mix the clothes for the girls. But the easiest part is ahead, when there won't be any clothing at all.
This weekend we'll start post-processing and coding some scenes in.
Weekly summary:
- 85 renders
- More outfits
- Custom textures
- Normal maps

We've been thinking about continuing the monthly specials this month. We originally started them due to a demand for custom renders and they were a good middle ground, offering a little bit of extra content for everyone. The only downside is that they take a bit of time each month. So we thought we'd ask you: should we continue creating monthly specials again, yay or nay?
We're also thinking of posting more work-in-progress images of the girls. Things from the design workbench between the updates, like outfit ideas and random test renders. Is that something you'd be interested in seeing?
Sophie also decided to dress up for Halloween this year.

The monthly specials are pretty good but they are a waste of time and resources imo. After the disappointing last update, I think it would be better if they just focus all their time on the game instead of pointless things like the monthly specials.

I hope this isn't like that guy who makes mistakes, says he's going to change, changes for a few months but then goes back to how he was before.
If people are eager and want to see the girls between updates, preview images should suffice.

I think the best approach would be one preview picture in the progress update every Friday. There's no need to give any major spoilers for the next update, the main thing is, that we have something to talk about and come up with theories in between the months of waiting with weekly preview pictures. And then the developers wouldn't have extra work to do with monthly pinups.

I second this. I know the devs are around so maybe they would want to consider this.
As much as I love the monthly specials, a preview or two every month would be much better as the community would become more active and it would save more time to focus on finishing the main stuff.

I agree with others when they say preview images are better than monthly specials. It's not taking time away from the game itself then either.
I am curious about those 'behind the scenes' 'work-in-progress' images though. They sound interesting. I don't know if that would be considered previews for the next update though.

You've answered your own question there. The opening scene (choice dependent, I guess) with Mia, and a quick topless scene later (again with Mia and choice dependent).

Were they at least animated? The slide show BJ was such a disappointment I didn't even bother with 0.6.

I think the first scene had animations, but I can't remember, maybe it didn't. The second wasn't really anything, just Mia flashing her tits for the camera.
Fairly certain the first scene with Mia in Ch6 did have animations. Second one definitely didn't.
