The reason Ms.Hill is sending him home and calling him a bad influence is just an excuse. The truth is Ms.Hill is getting too close to MC romantically, and doesn't want to cross the line.

So while it is true, MC is not a blank slate, the reason of sending us home is not becuase of being a bad influence, but because she is catching feelings for us.
So she's punishing him because of her own issues? Lovely. (But yeah, I figured there was more to her decision than what she was claiming. Others have also pointed out various issues surrounding her reasons for kicking him out.)

Seems to be deliberate, although flawed writing however. Let's see how it goes.

So I'm guessing you have never been around a woman? They punish you for their own issues all the time. I can't tell you the number of times my wife has been pissed at me all day because of something "I" did in a dream she had the night before. And I won't go into some of my exes...

But their other talents and factors definitely outweigh the negatives.

Yeah, I've had two former girlfriends and one REALLY vindictive ex who caused me a lot of headache over their own bullshit. One of them even told me "the reason I hate you is none of your business". So I get it but I try not to paint all women with the same brush.

I don't know what it is about this game that makes me keep coming back to it. It has that rose-tinted tone of nostalgia to it but feels so vivid at the same time. Or more like "vibrant" .

It's like waking up early on a late summer day when the bugs are chirping, the grass is wet, and the sun feels more like a warm glow rather than a scorching heat. It feels like it should be a slow, lazy morning but you have this fresh and excited feeling that makes your face tingle. And you can really just take in all your surroundings.

VNs like this keep me coming back. It never really has to be a super unique premise. There are so many other aspects for VNs like the character writing, render quality, plot development, and scene/sound direction (especially the sounds in this game, there's something that really pulls at me there). And especially if you can grab at some kind of distant pang of nostalgia and capture it perfectly, then you've got yourselves a banger.

If it's about the camp setting? There are a lot of such games.

I tried to make a joke that implied that this game actually has a chance of being completed but someone took it as a literal question and deleted the comment claiming it was an actual request. Like, wow.

...and if I remember how I phrased it, it was a yes or no question!!
