Is the incest patch fan made or official? I played with the patch and it felt right. But I'm not sure why Cheeto is the older one when they are in the same year. If anything, I would have guessed that the MC would be the one to get held back.

How dare you! Everyone knows that this patch is maintained by an unknown evil modder! But the cunning bastard somehow manages to update it almost simultaneously with the release of the game. *nudge-nudge, wink-wink*
That's the question, one of many. Like another question of the century, why is Cheeto red? I can only refer to the dev, he wrote a few times that many things in the game are deliberately left vague and will be explained much later.

I don't know if an explanation was ever given but some possibilities. Recall that Nami and MC's parents (two completely separate sets, mind you) died unexpectedly in their youth.
- Tragedy strikes prior to Nami starting kindergarten. It takes a year to settle before she starts school, and by that time MC is ready to start too.
- MC and Nami start classes at the same time to support one another through their shared trauma.
- Nami took Pre-K, MC didn't.
- Something else.

Fact is, when we do finally get a sex scene, Ocean could decide to have it be softcore erotic deal like a Hollywood RomCom scene, with just boobs and nothing else. He's obviously trying to do something elevated, so expecting graphic scenes of penetration and cumshots is probably going to led to disappointment.
Having nudity and innuendo doesn't automatically make it a porn game. Movies like American Pie have nudity and innuendo but you wouldn't call them porn would you?
We simply have no idea at this time what he intends to do so you definitively stating it's a 'porn game' is a bit presumptuous.

But you are right, we will see what the future brings. We can't unfortunately have it all. If it's a good story, people complain about the missing porn. If it is porn, some want lesbian or transgender contents, others don't want that, or some want to see other people fuck, than some complain about NTR and not wanting NTR, even if it's an option, there will be someone telling us he will delete the game because of it. And even if everyone would be satisfied, there will come someone with some niche request to want dwarf porn added, or loli's to it. Can't make every one happy...
So we can only hope that Ocean will continue the story, and won't be stuck on reinventing the first 4 chapters over and over...

Why do you criticize something developer already cleared up, i don't get it? I'm not defending it I'm following this since it was just 2 chapters i already know lewd scenes won't going to happen at least for 5 chapters according to story pressuring indie developer is a stupid thing to do

Not that far, the concept has changed too early. Only the personality of the MC has changed the most after the rework, now even with the roughest possible choices he does not talk and act like a psycho. Like an asshole maybe, but still a relatively sane asshole. As for the real dark, we didn’t get to see it, only early glimpses
For example (I don’t remember where did I get it from, maybe from the discord) the developer originally planned to let the MC to put some girls into submission and then use them to his advantage (though he didn't tell which girls). Do you remember how the MC had the opportunity to ask Maja for a favor in exchange for helping Vic? In Old Chapter 2, when Bella and the MC come up with a plot against the Holgersons, they think about who they could use to get Mario to cheat on his girlfriend. And the MC recalls Maja and tells Bella that he knows someone who owes him a favor and will come in handy for their plan. So he won't hesitate to whore Maja out to get the evidence of Mario's cheating for blackmail or whatever else. Unfortunately (or not), we didn't get a chance to see how it was supposed to play out, and I don't believe the renewed MC will do something like that to Maja.

It's not really clear what kind of route it even is, only thing we know is that it's "locked" to 1 LI (that being Bella).
Bear in mind that it's not confirmed and stuff like this can always change, especially since we haven't seen anything about said path.

I actually always go for the dark corruption routes when available, but not having played the original, all I can say is that I really like the current execution and approach.
But yea, you definitely still see the remnants of a potential darkness route set up in the MC early on in the story. Pulling the trigger in the intro was pretty crazy to me considering this game had a reputation of being really emotional or heartfelt. I was like ok, this MC is in a really dark place and is unstable as fuck.
Then there are the conversations you mentioned. It's still there actually. You can ask for that favor, and it's mentioned during the conversation with Bella. Although how exactly they planned to use Maja (or Nami, if Maja favor wasn't available) might have been changed. Bella asks MC to use Nami to seduce Mario, but he shuts it down. But they do kinda settle on using Maja to help them if he has that favor, just not exactly in the whoring out way, if my read was correct. It was all a bit ambiguous though.
Then there are other monologues like when the MC thinks about misleading and using Bella for whatever means when he learns that she's looking into her mom's files (even on the Bella path).
I think that was the last one where the old MC really leaks through. It does feel a little bit inconsistent though. Ocean did a pretty good job with the MC's mental state, but there is still this shift in his outlook without anything specific really triggering this change. It does feel like a certain planned route was just dropped. It's not super jarring, since the current MC is still a bit of a psychopath faking it til he makes it, but it could be smoothed out a bit more, imo.

As for some inconsistencies, the last part of the second chapter is still being reworked (I hope it will be released along with chapter 5), perhaps he will polish these places.

Of course we do! Although the definition of their relationship will always be a cause for a fight. The canonical public version states that they are not related by blood. The mod by "evil modder" changes this. Some of the lines and dialogue sound a bit meaningless unless they are related to blood, such as questions to the MC from acquaintances: “Why is Nami red?”
While the reasons why the canon version treats them as "the best roomies ever" are obvious, I still think that there is something not entirely clear about their origin
