With out the lip ring and pink hair Kate may be hotter but yeah Bella wins
Is not a deal breaker for me, and in some people is really great, I just am not a fan overall. Seems childish and attention seeking for me. Other than that I think Katie would win, not by much, Bella is great with the green eyes and the blonde hair too. Would at least be a closer call.Where is the love for fun hair colors? I'll agree I can do without piercings, but I really like unnatural hair colors. I blame my high school crush for having pink tipped hair.
To each their own, but Kate is absolutely gorgeousSeeing them side by side, Bella is prettier than Kate
Why though? We KNOW Katie dyes her hair and that she's naturally a brunette. There's renders of her with her natural hair colour.I was prepared to go on a rant about how I don't like Bella's eyebrows because of how dark they are compared to her hair but I realized Katie has the same thing going on and now I'm having an existential crisis.
from what i see ocean like a lot of devs is counting on the loyal fans to continue to support him no matter what he does. and he is counting on that if he does lose some patreons it wount be enough to ruin him. some fans do not care how long it takes for a dev to put out updates they will ride or die for them ,the hope they have in these devs is amazing it's kinda like blind faith because you don't see anything but a few previews here or there and lots of excuses, i understand loving a game but when it comes to a point where it's months after months and even a year or so without anything then at what point do you see you are being played. you have newer devs putting out updates like crazy but these older devs that have been making these AVN's for years some how can't put out a update every 3 to 6 months because of reasons that we wount get into. but at what point do you blame the devs or the supporters because they allow these devs to act like this think about it, they are funding the long production time so they have no one to blame but themselves for a year of nothing , you put up with it and say nothing we don't keep these devs accountable so it's our faught, and at the end of the day it's your money so good for you if you like to support long productions times that takes a year and several months ,for me i like to support devs that are motivated and show drive to put out content on a regular basis.I see a small scandal has started among the Patreons, everyone is again scolding Ocean and calling him a milker, now I understand why. It is better for Ocean not to write logs, he constantly forgets what he wrote earlier and catches himself in a lie.
He previously wrote that his rendering time was 4.5 minutes (which is too much for such a powerful system), now he wrote that the time was 13.20 including loading. This simply does not make sense. It turns out that loading a scene takes about 8 minutes? This is complete nonsense, in this time even an HDD can load a scene larger than 70 GB, and an average speed SSD m.2 can load about 1 TB in this time.
I understand that it is profitable for Ocean to delay the development of the game, but it is stupid of him to expect that all his Patreons are very stupid and do not understand anything about PCs and rendering.
To each their own, but Kate is absolutely gorgeous¯\_(ツ)_/¯
:sigh: It's Katie. Also:With out the lip ring and pink hair Kate may be hotter but yeah Bella wins

The white hair cheeto is most gorgeous character that Ocean created but alas she is not a LI.In a perfect world where both games are finished, I doubt anyone would beat Sasha and Elsa in a poll for the most beautiful, these two meet the standards of beauty required in modeling the rest is personal preference i am a mystery cheeto enjoyer my first post in this thread was related to her
the last thing for this game was back at may of 2024 and that was the steam release since then nothing and there is no telling when season 2 chapter 1 will come out your guess is as good as anyones else.are thy still working on this game?
Ocean is one person, and yes, he's still working on this. Next Wednesday there should be a devlog with numbers so we can get an idea of how far there is to go. The next update is supposed to be around 6000-7000 renders, so it's a very large start to the next season. As to when it happens, we'll know as it gets closer. Ocean has been doing a devlog every two weeks, so you can keep you eye on the thread - there's a link to a list of the devlogs in the OP.are thy still working on this game?
It's actually insane how things changed from when I first started playing AVN's about 6 years ago. Back then most games I played were being updated every 2-5 months. It was not at all uncommon to see a new 400-500 render update every 3 months. At that time a subscription model made sense.from what i see ocean like a lot of devs is counting on the loyal fans to continue to support him no matter what he does. and he is counting on that if he does lose some patreons it wount be enough to ruin him. some fans do not care how long it takes for a dev to put out updates they will ride or die for them ,the hope they have in these devs is amazing it's kinda like blind faith because you don't see anything but a few previews here or there and lots of excuses, i understand loving a game but when it comes to a point where it's months after months and even a year or so without anything then at what point do you see you are being played. you have newer devs putting out updates like crazy but these older devs that have been making these AVN's for years some how can't put out a update every 3 to 6 months because of reasons that we wount get into. but at what point do you blame the devs or the supporters because they allow these devs to act like this think about it, they are funding the long production time so they have no one to blame but themselves for a year of nothing , you put up with it and say nothing we don't keep these devs accountable so it's our faught, and at the end of the day it's your money so good for you if you like to support long productions times that takes a year and several months ,for me i like to support devs that are motivated and show drive to put out content on a regular basis.![]()
100% this Nasc, I'm exactly the same in general. It's actually insane how things changed from when I first started playing AVN's about 6 years ago. Today most games I play get updated maybe every 8-12 months at best. And you'd think all of them would come out with 1k+ renders at least, no? Nope! Sometimes not even with devs who do it full time. Imagine subbing for an entire year for maybe an hour of underwhelming content that doesn't even feature your favorite LI.... Fucking lunacy.
I do my part as I've always done. All devs I want to support get my money on the month of release. That's it. It encourages them to put out faster and better updates. Instead of giving them a guaranteed source of income which encourages the opposite. Nothing is safe from Enshittification, not even AVN's![]()
I routinely complain about how people drop $70 on new games instead of just waiting a bit. Then I discovered AVN land where it's suddenly okay to hand Ocean (or any other dev) $5, $10, or even more per month to get less playtime than something like Persona 5. I get that with Patreon/SS I'm not paying for a product, I'm supporting a developer, but it's still a weird disconnect.100% this Nasc, I'm exactly the same in general.
To think (and fair, people can do what threy like with their money) let's say a tenner a month (not a huge amount really in today's world)...and it takes 6 years to complete...
Thats seven HUNDRED and twenty notes...for a VN? Sorry...I wouldn't even pay that for a personalised, signed, gold plated copt of a the Mass Effect trilogy...it's just an insane amount of money and just shows how in reality, any dev on patreon really has zero incentive to ever finish or be in a rush.
I'm also decidely against half-completed shit on Steam too....but that's another debate I guess. Early access? Heh...just go to fucking KickStarter and let's see how many people really want to see your product. But even that, agaian, is a very flawed model. Make your damn game...release it...live or die by how it's perceived. But of course, none of them will ever do that.
