It's not about hiring coders or people to do art. I usually take the position of my colleagues when it comes to developer vs customer battles, but SS has been here forever...heh, as much as I hate it, I'll have to use term "milking" in this case. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but with that level of income/patronage, why doesn't he (temporarily) hire a couple more coders to pick up the pace and build a solid foundation?
I imagine he has some great ideas that he wants to draw and implement but he's been "stuck" for years.
Like, the main story is finished, but there are dozens of character substories left to explore: the principal, sports teacher etc etc.
Instead of properly developing their branches and give to folks their stories, we get a remake. Why? Because it's easier)
When Summertime Saga came out, it stood out. But as of now it's just a sad story of what greed may turn once a great game into.
Should've been finished long, looong time ago.
