Well... gonna check it in a year or so I suppose.
And hope that this "great rework" actually worth years of almost zero actually new content.

Maybe I'll be a little positive. In the previous version of the game, there were 147 scenes (in the wiki's cookie jar). Currently, around 34 of those scenes have already been implemented (not counting new scenes), which is more than 20%, And this is still being quite pessimistic. Of course, it's not the best metric—gameplay time would probably be better—but it's harder to measure. Besides, there are new scenes as well.
If everything currently in WIP gets finished, that would already be more than 50% of the game.
Anyway, this update was a bit weird. The quality of the scenes improved a lot, but the number was reduced. I suppose this is because they are completely new scenes, so this is a "slow" pace.

Looks like the entrance for a restaurant. Maybe the asian chick that's related to Somrak is gonna work there.
There's also Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, the remake for Ninja Gaiden 2, which features some of the DOA girls.

you have to choose when peeping Debbie in the shower to have a sneak peak at future release images, keep peeping Debbie, it will show up eventually.
For the stable version, Couple of bugs i think. Cannot get book from dexter. The poker table at erics house does not give the card. Oh well

the stable version has been working for 4 years - the two items you mention work in v0.20.16.
For example, from the wiki:
<In Stable version> In the afternoon pick up the magazines at the basketball court, (requires 5 agility to avoid Dexter).

Well yea. STS was/is brilliant game and I could not wait for new content, but I gave up. So naturally I wanted to check progress when I saw thread updated
