Hey is it possible that we overlooked plants as a potential avenue for powers. since plants are living beings and we can connect to living beings really mostly. I mean there are deadly plants in the world and fungi that can kill and turn u into a zombie. I just feel like it's an untapped market that's all
WW has said that it is something within the MC's powerset, he's just never really found a reason to do so. Personally, the best example I can think of is photosynthesis to make energy gain more efficient. But that will be more or less useless by the time we reach level 4

The organisms that have the most potential on Earth are extremophiles, like the water bear (Tardigrade). But, in a fantasy setting like this, they are shit compared to monsters.They would have been excellent for a level 1 or level 2 MC, but now that he can get sweet monster DNA, they are basically nothing.
Idk how MC would find them, specially since superhuman's Earth isnt like our own, geographically.
Wonder how at level 4 and 5 you can produce power from nothing. I'm guessing once you reach level 4 a superhuman form a permanent link to there gene apostle, see them worthy and juice em up or gains a foot hold to the higher planes like when the new born eye breaks out of the hexenringe. The more you evolve the less human you become.
We could make ourselves smell good I guess. Honestly, when I think of plants their most impressive trait to me is their ability to produce seeds. Which would be a weird thing to inherit not gonna lie.
Also, photosynthesis only works for plants because they don't really move. It would be pretty much useless for a normal human let alone a superhuman who's stated to require far more energy than normal.

Oh I wouldn't say that, based on how the MC's powers work they only really gain slightly more efficient organs from monsters, all the traits that continue to pull through come from real world animals, Mantis Shrimp, Spider, venomous creatures.
