Simply because someone has power, or ALOT of power does not make them a tyrant. their actions define it. Tyrants do NOT grant freedom and boost strong economies and relations between nations. they simply start wars usually and take people by force and nothing really improves there. most do different forms of slavery and in some cases genocide.

A simple example: Stalin, Franco, Ataturk in the 20th century. They were dictators, tyrants who organized mass repressions, participated in wars, and so on. But all three, having accepted their countries in a very backward state, developed them into high-tech and economically developed ones during their years of rule.

Well, I mean that the word tyrant came from the Ancient Greece to designate people who use "the people" to slaughter the aristocracy, inplement reforms, drink a lot of wine, transfer ownership of land, and then be killed by your own guard. But what's that gotta do with what we're discussing now? The fact that Ginasta didn't read Plato or the Chicago boys?

Sorry or the book i just had to seriously vent that point of view because of the dev's misconstrued idea of tyranny.

I'm pretty sure that Ginasta's overuse AND misuse of the term was on purpose to show her characterization as someone that, ultimately, only really has a very surface level understanding of the world's events. And once she starts really understanding the world and her place in it, it cost her her powers because she can't reconcile her beliefs and actual reality together anymore.

So just completed my run through and just wanted to double check unless I am missing something here but the achievements "Points are Power" should activate when you buy a shining sword with influence during Altina's Request right? Only achivement I missed apperently during my playthrough xD

From what I can understand the achievement is indeed bugged atm
