HELP!

I'm trying to fill the missing dependencies in the package manager. Reading through the log, some of these are character models and if I rescan again after downloading them, more missing dependencies will likely show up. Most of these are dependencies of character models as well. Should I not download them or leave it missing?

What should I do with this, log says "DDG.LinYun.latest" but the addon is named "DDG.LinYun.2" from the addon collection (that is the latest one I can see). Should I rename or not?

welcome to the dependency hell of vam packages. people who make these packages with unnecessary morphs and other dependencies should be shot lmao. just ignore those logs. if you try to fix them, it will only make it worse. only pay attention to that error when you find content missing in the scenes you actually use.

'latest' just means the highest numbered version in your addonpackages (i.e. the latest version) will be scanned for the needed files, so there's no need to rename the var.

And most times it won't matter if you don't actually have the latest version of a dependency, as long as you have any version...the scene you're loading will just be looking for this_morph or that_hair or whatever from the latest version of named_var it finds in your addonpackages folder. This isn't a hard and fast rule, but for the most part you won't get errors and won't even notice as long as VaM can find some version of the dependency.

Plugins are generally the only dependencies that will (or should) require a specific version, but as far as any dependencies go your mileage will vary...not all VARs are packed or named correctly.

But as has been said, if the scene loads and looks ok, the error messages can usually be ignored.

NEED HELP ON IMPROVING FPS!

My pc has RTX 3050 hybrid GPU (4GB dedicated GPU memory and 7.7 shared memory), 16GB RAM (40% used on idle), and 512GB SSD.

With 1 person scene or simply loading a look, I get up to 60FPS cap, when with 2 persons, it significantly drops to 18-25FPS, and sometimes lower with 3.
I tried redeyes' FPS plugin but it would only improve until 25FPS even if I turn off both the physics settings and put everything to low from the native settings.

VAM will always allocate all the RAM leaving 5-10% and with VRAM, only the dedicated memory is used.
Is it the RAM or the dedicated VRAM or something else?
What could be the issue here?

CPU. Play without soft body physics and tone down hair. There are a couple of fixes and tweaks you can do.
Pretty sure I explained everything and more in this thread here multiple times.
Just search for "FPS" within this thread and you should find my and other helpful tips.

1. make sure you have few lights in your scene. You can even turn off all lights and modify Scene Lighting to make things look better. VAM will look more "anime" that way, but you'll get a big performance boost, especially in VR. IMO it's better to turn off lights and increase render scale in VR to 1.5 or more. You get more detail and it runs faster. If you have 3 lights in your vam scene or more, you're playing it wrong imo. Multiple lights are meant for rendering, not gameplay.

2. make sure you don't have too many hair items with physics. If you have a base hair, then a ponytail as a separate item and bangs as a separate item, you should turn off physics for the base hair. If it doesn't move much, you don't need physics.

3. make sure you don't have too many clothing items, and especially not with physics.

These are I think the big ones to look for. Other than these, it depends a lot on your PC and your vam scene. What you wrote is probably not happening in the default scene I imagine. If your PC is not very good, you might want to stick with hair that doesn't have physics (buns, etc). Same with clothes, only use physics for skirts/dresses. Other than those, you probably don't need clothes physics that much.
