I personally preferred her first look way more then the return Kim's hair. Although I did find it a bit odd when she talks about changing her hairstyle, the MC can get a Kim point by saying he likes her current hair. I have a Kim playthrough and had to sacrifice that point, as I just couldn't say I like it.

It never does the player or the character any justice when there's already an established relationship to begin a AVN. More than likely you're going to have people that just aren't into the main love interest. Sadly, I never gelled with the Kim character even though I think she's a great person.

One of the main reasons why I'm not interested in Kim is that the model used for her is not attractive compared to other LI “s, she looks quite ordinary.
I don't think she would get so much hate if a beautiful model was used, that's just my opinion.

I think it depends more on the type of the game it is. A game like this that isn't about porn / sex since it's more on the slow side I don't think if her model was super hot would matter much to many people. What I'm saying is not about the type of game, it's about how people think. A simple example, do you want to marry a woman you don't find beautiful, no matter how much people deny it, the first criterion is always about beauty, if she is not beautiful you are not interested, simple as that. As I said, this is my opinion. If the developer wants to do Kim a favor, I think he should change Kim's model. You cannot solve this problem by changing her hairstyle.

as Dessolos said, there were reworks done to get the game up to a standard the dev was comfortable with for a steam release. I recommend you read the changelog, it's quite excessive, lots of behind the scenes stuff was improved upon/changed, and there were some scene reworks as well, might as well play it again to check them out

Personally I rather marry someone less attractive than someone like Kim if she was hot. I don't even consider looks anymore when I play AVN's unless I don't know anything about any of the characters. But once I get to know them I throw looks out of the window
Which is why im waiting for the next update to replay it haha so I can do it all in 1 go
