Yeah, you know how statistics work? How you can ask a few hundred people and then going from that can make educated estimates for several million people?
Out of a group so and so many people voice an opinion, from which you can then extrapolate how many of the whole share that opinion approximately?

In other words, if fe. 50 people post in a thread about a unity game and 20 of those complain about how bad the playability is, it definitely points to a larger number of people overall sharing that opinion.

By your argumentation, the fact that we don't have several thousand people telling us how great Unity games are, would mean that NO ONE thinks Unity games are great, because otherwise they would all tell us and not just you and three other dopes.

To be honest most people on adult forums just lurk, there maybe 10k people online but the majority of people are not posters. They don't even read the forums they just want the link. However the other bunch of forum actives, can be very vocal about their oppinions.

Regarding statistical significance, it doesn't work if the pool of people you ask is biased.

People need to stop giving bad cred to unity games because of devs misusing it.

I can vouch for the unity hate beeing real but, its a tiny tiny fraction of people that think so, they are just very vocal about it, without having evidence.

Honestly most people don't know what part is made by unity, and what part is the doing of the developer. There's thousands of games out there that are shit in ren'py, where you get script errors etc, people don't blame ren'py, they blame the dev. I don't understand why it has to be any different with Unity. If anything it's even more so the developer since unity gives more freedom, and also require more experience.

Most games with those models are shitty. It's as simple as that. Lewdlab has a quality product in an industry flooded with crappy 3D games. With a game with this potential, I'm glad the women don't look 80.

Also, many of us here are grown men (not teenagers) who enjoy younger-looking MILFS. Get over it; stop being a grouchy asshole.

you personally know sometimes yourself have made a mess in the game, like saves not working, freezing after text and things......(and you have very good skills in unity sooo... you gotta admit renpy is more user friendly both to devs and users, i admit unity is good but only if ur an expert otherwise you end up a lot of time messing things)

Well, you are being very combatative about your opinions. Instead of being "in your face" and harping on the same thing over and over, consider just stating your opinion and move on.

Yeah, that's not how it works. You disprove an assertion by finding one contradiction. There are older moms who look very young, so having them in a game is not out of the realm of possibility. If that's not what you like, well, maybe you should go find a game with models more to your taste.

Depends if you mean dev as in game developer or programmer.

99% of the people making games here are not programmers it seems. We all make mistakes but we've also always been working on getting them fixed fast.

I don't agree that ren'py is more user friendly for developers, i don't agree that ren'py is more user friendly for its players. It totally depends on the implementation. I for one do a lot of research in other games to see what i myself can do better in terms of UI, and also based on feedback and my own oppinions. Most developers that actually do the coding and designing from scratch learn to do this. Just like the artists talk between eachother on tips in octane or daz to make better renders, lighting, posing etc.

I'm not an expert. I'm not bad but far from expert. But i always go back and work things out to make it better in the future. I'm not a developer for work, i work a full time regular job as something completely different. It's just about always wanting to improve your own work and not giving up, and having clearer goals that makes it turn out good in the end.

Ren'py generally allows the creator to focus less on tech stuff, and still offer good features that they would not be able to offer without the engine. But of course there are skilled python devs out there that have made some nifty custom things for it as well.

Remember also, ren'py is free. This also brings in more people

I must say that I feel somewhat sad and disappointed. I love the Lewdlab games (DoD is still in my Top Three of all games)
I do not say it for the game itself (In fact I could not play it because it's a 64-bit version and my faithful computer has a 32-bit system... this make me a little sad) So I hope that in future updates there is a 32 bit version... Aaaand I feel a little bit disapointed for the change to Unity engine (just say this for a matter of playability and nothing more)
And I also want to say that, if there is a 32 bit version, Dr. Sin will have me as a donor in Patreon, as I was in DoD
