As is, I'm a huge fan of the game.
That said: I can't disagree with the notion of hiring SoulCentinel as an artist and then NOT having any porn in it. Lotta lewds, which are GREAT, don't get me wrong, but at some point, it gets kinda tiring seeing these characters in a compromising position and...then that's it.
The initial update debacle could've been avoidable if they spent as much time now with working on the new season as they did in the year prior. Now they're cramming the time they COULD have also spent on Canterlot Exchange to instead rush out the first episode of season 2 (which is probably coming late March).
This latest update adds some stuff to the episodes to make them replayable, and also gives a list of what you need to find in order to "complete" an episode, but beyond that, it's basically what we've had for a while. I can forgive them for this latest update though given the next season is so close to completion. Will that prediction of a soon release hold true? I dunno man, I'm just a dude on a porn game pirate site.
That said: they've got SoulCentinel and Miscon as hired artists, two artists known for their porn of animated characters (oftentimes of the younger variety) and all they're letting them do is ecchi level shit (except for like...that one shower scene with Kim and I think Angel also had a scene closer to that line...I'm also assuming Canterlot Exchange will be of a similar note simply because of all the previews leaning more towards comedic than lewd). I wouldn't call it a disgrace, but it definitely feels like a waste to make a game targeted towards an adult audience
intentionally, including hiring known porn artists, and then not letting them do the thing they're known for.
I'm willing to give these guys a break for a bit more. I'm even willing to ignore the lack of actually nude stuff, at least for now. I just hope the entirety of the lewd stuff doesn't just disappear cause one dev got butthurt that they made a borderline porn game and people decided to make lewd stuff of the characters involved...not to mention them towing the line at all.

You hire SoulCentinel, known for his porn of fictional characters most decisively underage, and MisCon, known for being a porn artist of fictional characters that oftentimes borders on off the cuff (or at least not vanilla stuff) and you limit your game to "ecchi" in an attempt to...sell more?
I had this same problem with JPDE, to be honest, even if that game was able to stand out on its own. You're making a porn parody of an existing property. There's no reason to stifle yourselves with some weird idea of being tasteful, or whatever excuses they have to do so.
