You'll have to make those bots. Have you considered writing a mod?we really need a Dom-Bot and a Sub-Bot ^^

Interesting but this doesn't fit into the SR24 story line. There are lots of directions things could go. I publish the source code so people can use it to make other variants if they want. I got started developing SR24 that way and others can too. If you use the source code like this you must give Radnor credit as he created the original DSCS game and asked anyone using his code to say so. I don't care if you mention me or not.hmm i see i was thinking something like: when MC reach S-Skills everywhere he sahs the knowledge to construct his "personal" Bot M/F and maybe with some special features dom/sub and of course its the first SS-Rank Bot. classified as E-Rank because nobody knows this design... and yes i am a great fan of Animes where E or F Rank adventures prevail with there super cheat skill
could even be a linear questline where you cant use this bot for daylie routine .. to risky ^^
I mean there is always next yearI like your idea! Sadly I have a roadmap that will already take over a year to implement and I can't afford to expand it. Expanding scope is a major reason games get abandoned. I wish I could do everything.![]()
Yeah, take a break, it's important to look after your mental health and inner self, avoid burnout. Good on you.I've never really like it when there's a long delay between game updates and the developer tells a sob story explaining why so I'll skip the sob story and just say what's happening. After I put out version 0.10.2 on December 3 I didn't work on the game again until my post above on February 11. I planned to take a break in December but it turned out to be much longer than I expected. Yesterday I finished rendering the images for the new version. I'm getting a little faster creating them and I think the quality is improving slowly. Today I started turning my detailed outline into the actual text and it's going slowly because I'm rusty after writing no code for 3 months (too many typos and syntax errors plus having to look up variable names I used to have memorized). I'm not very good at estimating how long things will take but I still think it will be out by the end of March. Cheers!
Erm... I'll plead the 5th.For living expenses from now on when you read "rent" interpret it as "rent and living expenses". If it fits without a shoehorn I'll change the wording in the game. If so it will be a text change only, I have no interest in programming a "life simulator" game where you have to make sure the MC goes grocery shopping, feeds himself, takes showers, etc. I suspect no one wants to play a game like that either.
I guess I could move all of the renders into the 'mods' folder when building the game or maybe I can figure out how to create a separate folder for them. I suspect it will make the game take longer to load but I'm not sure. No promises but I'll look into it.i've always wanted a game you can tinker with bots, really get into the motherboards, access panels, synthetic skin of the trade. love love love the mechanics of the game. just wish I could mod the main renders (appreciate your work! i model in CC4 and blender, AI and it's not easy) like we can mod the bot graphics.
could you make the main renders accessible in a coming update so we can tweak those to our liking as well?
the bones of the game are solid and i've poured hours into enjoying the game so far!
playing the new update! thanks and looking forward to more!
*i like to color code the different grades for quick reference

Thanks for the comments. Some interesting ideas but they don't fit for me.Erm... I'll plead the 5th.
I'm not going to complain about small changes that you feel are worth making it's your game to do with as you please. I do like the idea of being able to spend more money and/or AP to be able to increase your odds. Whether that be a dump in a better neighbourhood or sneaking into a secure facility to steal something. Maybe even paying the club for one of their burnt out and discarded bots?
Anyway, good luck with the game and have been enjoying it.
Even back in DSCS there was a placeholder for buying bots on the 'grey net' in 'trade offers' but it wasn't finished. There is a technical issue that was very limiting (details too long to describe). In SR24 some changes were made that reduced the magnitude of the technical issues but they still exist. A while ago I tried to implement this but couldn't quite make it work reliably. I will try again, I'm better at this now and maybe I can figure out a way around the issues. No promises. The last part about going to get the bot would be too much work, sorry it will be delivered instantly just like buying parts. Not realistic but practical.I like this game even if the RNG makes me mad at the start of the game.
Maybe we could have a used bot marketplace where people advertise their broken bots for a minimal price or free, people selling them with descriptions like "My cat pissed on it now it wont turn on". You might get something you can fix with a couple of parts and a wash. Or you might get something completely full of defective parts. But you have to go to their house to get it.
When you make it a feature (you can do it) make it progress time / energy or something to simulate going to go get it (if it's a freebie / pickup only bot). Only put a couple cheap/free bots on the market place per week that don't stay there that long (depending on the condition that you have to guess from the description).Even back in DSCS there was a placeholder for buying bots on the 'grey net' in 'trade offers' but it wasn't finished. Your ideas are interesting and I like them but you are asking a lot. I'm sorry but I won't add that much work to my roadmap for the game. If I do this the implementation will be a standard 'trade offer' on the 'grey net'. I will put in a few offers that will appear randomly the way these offers work and people are welcome to write mods to add more. I got started by writing a mod to sell parts this way, maybe you or someone else will get started by writing a mod to sell bots. Again, no promises. When you make it a feature (you can do it) make it progress time / energy or something to simulate going to go get it (if it's a freebie / pickup only bot). Perhaps a bot auction where you bid on bots throughout the week then take delivery once you have paid (put in a limit of a day or two to pay for it). If you keep bidding without paying you get a negative user score where people are less likely to deal with you.
Make sure to put some strange/funny descriptions in.
Not in the game now and none is planned. I'm not aware of any mods with that type of content either.Any bdsm/bondage?
Thank you for your reply. I wasn't asking for an easy mode just a means to increase the odds at a cost but its not important. Thanks for the comments. Some interesting ideas but they don't fit for me.
- Rich people do not allow dumps in their neighborhood.
- The MC is a victim of criminals not a criminal himself. I won't glorify crime, I hate that trend in entertainment (I'm old).
Yes, prostitution is a crime but it shouldn't be. On the other hand I'm on a pirate game site so I'm not perfect.
- Burnt out bots can already be bought at the flea market.
If you want to increase your odds play in 'Easy' mode, you find things at the dump more often.
Sex between the human female characters and male sex bots will probably be in the game. There are two things planned, one in the story line and one in a new location where this would make sense. I won't guarantee it though, they are not critical to complete the story line.Is there a possible future update that his gf or Simone will having scenes with a male or female sexbot? And the future new scenes for the male sexbot will have sex with any human female more scenes too?
