Thanks for the head's up. Yes I played Summer's Gone but haven't been tracking it because it's going nowhere. If I ever see an update for it though, I'll go through it again and do a review (I played it before setting up my tracking spreadsheet and starting to do reviews and character cards etc.). I thought it was ok, visually fantastic, terrible MC, but overall had promise - if we ever see that promise being fulfilled. I'm a Nami fan, she's top for me.

Possibly because of the Summer's Gone situation, I haven't actually got to WIAB yet though. I might at some point, but I'm not in a hurry to do so at the moment.
I was a patron to the dev, but once he started the rework BS I have realized it is just a scam. One has to be out of his mind to support it after all this. Doing two games at once and in such a slow pace with 0 plot advancement...BS.
Have you tried Game of Hearts? It is on the same visual level of the abandoned A.O.A Academy, no even better and very good story and deep characters. I still think that the dev is the same one who did the abandoned game, the resemblance in style is uncanny.

I think I tried that one yes - is it the slow corruption of someone's wife and there's a purple-haired girl/demon helping with it, who you can also have sex with? I think visually, it looks great, but something about the story (I can't remember what) wasn't working for me.

It has so far 4 females one divorced, one to be corrupted, the purple hair and another one from the MC s past. The last two ones are girls not mature women like the first two.

I might have to try it again at some point. I only met three when I played it, and I think I got up to a point where there was a threesome with the first two you listed.

Yes, there has been an update since then and the next is just around the corner, I am waiting for that. Currently, this game is the pinnacle of visuals. Maybe https://thef95zone.info/threads/one-night-stand-v1-0-ons.110996/ comes close, but this one is a short game a one shot, but with the same detailed visuals where you can see pores on the skin.

Can also reccomend one night stand. Visually it's stunning. Only thing is it's just short.
Downloaded and added to the list to try.

The Adored Marriage by Simbaclaw

This is a sharing/cheating game that hasn’t really got started yet, and in these early stages, it shows some potential but also some negatives. First of all, I like that the couple isn’t jumping feet first into a sharing lifestyle. I’ve played a couple of these games and there’s maybe one or two minor incidents and then BOOM – someone else is banging the wife. Here, it’s much slower (so far), just testing the waters, and I feel that gives it better initial pacing. There are some things in the latest update (0.9) that potentially threaten this pacing, but it remains to be seen how they will play out (how far and how fast things will go).

There aren’t many girls in the game (yet?) and those we do have are decent without being incredible, for my tastes. The sex scenes follow the same pattern – not too many yet, okay when we get them, but certainly not incredible, in either length or content. At the moment, there aren’t even that many scenes between the husband (MC) and wife to tide us over until others start getting involved – in fact, I think we see another couple having sex as often as the MC and his wife, so far (one of those scenes seen by the MC, the other not).

As far as the gameplay goes, we do get a decent number of choices, and although it remains to be seen exactly how they will add up over the course of the game, some of these give husband or wife cheating points, and sharing points. I do like how there is confidence involved as well, so occasionally something will happen and a little notification will say something like “she has enough confidence to do this”, so you can see the impact of some choices in isolated incidents rather than as full pathing splits or branches.

Other than waiting for the game to fully get started with the sharing (and/or cheating) aspect in order to be able to properly judge it, there is one main negative for me at the moment: I feel the writing does need some additional work. In terms of the story, it’s okay – if not fantastically complex or fresh – but the technical side of it lets the game down. There are a number of typos and other grammatical errors that would put some people off continuing, and also some instances where the text doesn’t match up to what we can see (e.g., the narrative says “they stand up” but everyone was already standing up, or it says “she shut the door” but then conversation with a caller on the doorstep continues with the door open). If these issues were fixed, I think the game has a chance to meet its potential, otherwise, perhaps not.

This is a game that wears its heart on its sleeve. It knows what it is and is unashamed of it – there’s no attempt to hide, and I like that. In doing that, it’s not a very complicated game. At the barest level, it looks like it’s just a fuckfest, but there actually is more to it than that.

The premise is akin to a porn version of the movie Cube – people are trapped in a series of rooms and must perform tasks in order to open doors and move on to the next one. The people trapped are the MC and the female members of his family, and the tasks are mostly sexual in nature.

As straightforward as that sounds, I like how this works, because we gradually get bits of backstory fed in as we progress through the rooms, detailing the family connection that was unknown at first, and then the history between the family members who live together. We also get little things that don’t immediately make sense, and then a couple of looks “behind the scenes” in the control room, all of which help us to start piecing together what might be going on – and who might be behind it all.

There’s a lot of sex, and the scenes are mostly pretty hot, but also quite well done in terms of the renders and animations. Ultimately, the taboo is a massive defining factor of the scenes in the game though, and those who specifically like an incest game will find themselves very well served here. The girls are all quite attractive, the mothers slightly less so for me, although getting good images for my cards was not easy. Those who have played the game will notice that I’ve taken the liberty of making an assumption as well, as I have included a character who has not actually been confirmed…

I have no idea how long this game will go on for – I see it as having a relatively short overall scope, but it has fast updates (so far) and every so often it throws out something that could lead to an expansion of the character list, allowing the game to continue to grow. Despite having some intriguing story elements, this is really not a taxing game, and it’s both fast to get through, and fast/easy to get to the sex scenes, even without just unlocking the gallery. I think there might only be one choice to make that doesn’t involve how far to take a sex scene – that one choice does force you to miss a room (choosing the left or the right door), so it’s worth a quick save at that point to unlock the scenes from both rooms in the gallery.

Overall, this one is just a quick bit of hot fun, and we all need some of that sometimes.

This is a bit of a different game for me in a couple of senses. Firstly, it’s a fantasy (pirates) game, and I’d not found any of those that I enjoyed much – until now. Secondly, although there’s quite a lot of content as we approach Chapter 3, there is no lewd content yet. It’s purely story, as it builds into a largely vanilla romance game. The dev notes that sex scenes will start up from Chapter 3 however, so if you get through the slow burn of the opening, things will start moving in that respect soon.

I admit that I like this game a bit less now than I did when I first finished the available content. That’s because the next chapter dropped literally the day after I played, and some changes had been made that meant I wanted to start from the beginning again for story consistency’s sake. With it being a slow burn, that made my subsequent runs a bit tedious, as I also set up saves for the individual LIs.

Of those girls, the choice is limited, but high quality. I really like two of them and don’t mind the third, although she is (so far) lagging behind the other two. Each LI has two separate paths – a love path and a “unique” path that is more difficult to obtain, although there is an official walkthrough for this. There is also a throuple path, which happily for me involves my favourite two girls.

There are a number of choices that set you on a series of different paths – not only related to the LIs, or specifically to the LI paths. You can also open up “allegiance paths” with certain characters (male and female) which may help you on certain LI paths, but may not be requirements for them. Several “key” choices come up throughout the game, and these are often the ones that put you on (or take you off) an LI path. These are always flagged in-game, so you get the notification to take a bit more time thinking about what option to choose (and/or refer to the walkthrough).

The renders are lovely, if sometimes a tad dark, and there are some nice animated sections, although they can be a bit hit and miss. Occasionally there’s something like a sword fight, to which the “auto-forwarding” renders lend themselves well. More often though, these “animations” are for simple head nods and other character reactions, and although this generally works well, it can slow down the game slightly as you’re clicking through the dialogue.

Overall, I thought the story was quite interesting, although I’m yet to see the value of the different paths for each LI. Once a bit more excitement starts up – and yes, I do mean the sex scenes here – I think this game might really be able to come into its own.

*Note, LIs in the first season of Tides are Glade and Lorelei, who can also be attained as a throuple, and also Kasula. Zelene, Elva, and Violet are noted as being LIs or side girls in the second or third seasons of the game.

Hey Tony, Kasula is an LI in Tides 1. (There's the 3 of them).
There'll only be 2 Lis in Tides 2 (Zelene & Brielle). Elva in Tides 3, and I am pretty sure that Violet won't be an LI in any of them, but I can't find where I saw that.

I know, I said that (I just put Glade and Lorelei first to add that they can be a throuple too). I don't remember seeing anything about Brielle, but Violet was stated as being a side girl - I just can't remember if it was for 2 or 3.

The East Block by Bobbyboy Productions

This is the sort of game where there’s an element of “once you’ve played one, you’ve played them all”, so it needs something to set it apart from the others. Here, the character design (at least for the women) is really good, and there are some interesting story elements as well, so it succeeds in that respect for me.

I say the women are really good, but that should probably come with a caveat. Most of the women look great, but there are a couple who just don’t quite make it for me, and it’s the eyes more than anything else, in both cases. Also, one gets a hefty makeover – Claire did not look good to me on first sight, but in later appearances, I think she looks great. This fits in with the story as well, so even if it’s just a rework by the dev, it doesn’t come off as looking odd when she (IMO) suddenly becomes more attractive.

The scenes are pretty good. Most of them feature Kathryn, as the FMC, although all the other women included in my cards have scenes, even if one (so far) is not with the MC. Some of the scenes are a bit ridiculous, but most of that is also explained in the story itself, and while it might feel a bit cheap, it does allow for things to happen a lot more easily than they otherwise would.

The choices in the game are pretty standard for one of this type. You largely get to decide how far to go as you (gently?) pressure your girlfriend to do stuff with other men. You make choices for both the MC and the girlfriend at various points, as sometimes you will be together, and sometimes it will be an FMC-driven scene. At one point, there is a major choice and a warning is displayed to tell you that it will have a big impact on both characters going forwards, and though I appreciate that, I don’t think the warning is really necessary, as it’s a big line to cross, so the ongoing impact is relatively obvious.

My main problem with the game is partly to do with the scenes, and partly the gameplay, and it’s something that I almost always struggle with in these sharing/corruption games. The content is hot, and I want to see all of it, but the majority of the sharing content is always with characters I do not like. Here, it’s men who are particularly creepy and do what they can to take away player choice, or it’s the typical old/ugly/dirty men like the local flasher and the transit worker who looks like an extra from Planet of the Apes.

Overall though, this is shaping up to be one of the better games of this sub-genre for me. I’m really interested to see where the story goes with a few of the women, and also to see what happens with the potential cheating side of things. There are some intriguing aspects to the story itself as well, so it’s not just the lewd content that has the appeal and makes me want to see more.

I nearly put in my review that the only sharing option that I actually like so far is the convicted felon - how bad must it be when he is the best option?! I'm glad he wasn't lying about his daughter, as well. So many times that would have been just a lie to make him seem nicer to Kathryn so she would show him more pity.

Ah The East Block. A game I've always been conflicted with... This was one I came too immediately after TACOS and to me them two games are like night and day so my initial view was always a bit tainted.

Subsequent playthroughs it becomes clear that although the games is good, it is unfortunately nothing special in the genre, I do like it, I'm not so sure why though

I definitely like it, although I wouldn't mind some changes (but you can say that about pretty much every game). Coming from the hot mess that TACOS devolved into though, I can definitely see how this would look golden!

Personally I love it because of Kathryn just the way the dev has created her character , especially with how she is always asking permission that is something I adore about her and wish id see more of in sharing games. Also frankly Im a big fan of teasing and I find her teasing scenes pretty well done.

Yeah, she's a great tease. I like how she's clearly into it all too, although I do think the flashback scenes don't really fit her narrative (even though one you can cut off before it goes anywhere, which is a bit odd in itself for a flashback, perhaps).
